First impression wasn't great! The young man working seemed oblivious. Didn't greet me even though I sat down at the counter right in front of him. Never made eye contact or said anything for several minutes. The home made hot sauce saved the day. Exceptional and hot. Hot! 🥵 An adult female came out of the back and noticed me right away. I love the Merchants Cafe for a delicious and unique breakfast! It's not your typical diner, and offers great options for breakfast and lunch. If you're looking for a little something extra with a quiet, cozy atmosphere, you should give Merchants a try!
I love going here and it's well worth the drive - I moved away from North Branch down to the Twin Cities years ago, but I couldn't stop coming here. Phenomenal food, phenomenal prices, great vibe.
