I have a need to travel between Effie and Bemidji every week to two weeks all winter, so I have been stopping for soup, a meal, or diet coke and driving break. The food is always great and the service is always friendly, prompt and helpful. The establishment comes highly recommended!

Stopped for a Loaded Cheesesteak. At some point they've changed it. Ordered a 12" so I'd have extra for later. It was chopped up meat that tasted like BBQ? or something, on a doughy bun and no cheese. I tried to PM to see if the sandwich was suppose to be like that. $60+ later, both 1/2s were thrown away. Won't be back 😕

Great place to go after fishing on Red Lake. The atmosphere is good and the food is standard pub food. Our group got cheeseburgers and fries, soup, and other sandwiches and did not leave disappointed.Give it a shot if you're passing through!
Parking: Parking is free on the street out front and they have a lot in the back big enough for a truck pulling an ATV on a standard size trailer.
Wheelchair accessibility: A few low tables and access to the sidewalk. The bathroom is a standard accessible bathroom.

Great place to snowmobile up to or just park the snowmobiling road crew truck up in front on the sidewalk like a boss. These crazy men rode down from Sioux Lookout, Ontario to Nisswa, MN in two days. This restaurant was a great stopping place. They cater to the coolest Yamaha Sidewinder riders.
