I've been to Phil's 3 times in the last year. The food and menu is very good and decent price. Before I go on with the service part I want to say that I was a restaurant server for 20 years, from Perkins Family Restaurants in Minneapolis to fine dining seafood and steaks in Seattle. With the exception of the first time I went the servers attitudes there are horrible, just unpleasant all around. The servers are not kids they are in their 50's like myself, meaning they should be at a higher standard because they have made a living off tips for so long and also remember what service standards once were. My family and I are typically large tippers but the last 2 times there I really did not want to tip anything to my servers, so they only got 20% which was way higher than I should have tipped. Bottom line is most of the servers there behave like they are burned out and really don't want to serve you, that's how I felt, unwelcome. I will not be back nor will I continue to recommend Phil's.

I enjoyed their Greek gyro with a side of garlic mashed potatoes. They load up their gyros and wrap them in wax paper with a large toothpick to hold it all together when serving. The potatoes were an unexpected standout, so darn tasty. Enjoy with one of their many beverages, and you've got a great combination.
Their appetizers are a little different than what you might find elsewhere, lots of Mediterranean theming throughout their menu, but definitely worth a try, too.

The portions were great. The food was grilled to perfection. The restaurant was generous in giving my daughter a free plate of mushrooms (with a yummy Gorgonzola sauce) that she’ll forever be grateful for. The menu was fun. And Olivia was excellent as well. 10/10 will be back.
