Cant go wrong with this classic spot. Paulaner Octoberfest in a frosty mug gos great with any of their burgers, steaks, or any authentic german classic

Ordered a burger cooked to medium. It was well done. Delicious flavor and still very juicy. Just not what I ordered.

Jerome Bridger

Great burger. Got the blue cheese burger and it was juicy.

The schnitzel and gravy were good, as was the cabbage and sauerbraten. The ham was very dry, the well-done steak was medium rare, and the spaetzle was very salty. The beer selection is limited. Everything was expensive.

I love this bar, I come in and spend money all the time. I buy drinks for people and always tip the bartenders and servers. Today I came in looking to conserve money because I’m getting hit with school loans. I ask the bartenders if I could just tip a dollar and hang out and he says no. I ask my buddy Dave if he can cover a soda but he’s tapped. So I oblige and go to my wallet and pull out a 5 to pay for a half order of fries. The bartender denies me service and accuses me of getting the money from bar partrons. This is MY money that I earned and here I am willing to spend it in order to follow their rules of no hanging out without spending money.

This man damn near lost me as a customer. I’ve spend hundreds of dollars at this establishment over the last few months.

I still think this is a great bar and the other staff are fantastic, the food is great and people are generally friendly( as friendly as Minnesota can be).

This bartender will never receive a tip From me again. Pissed off that I’ve tipped him in the past.
I just played pull tabs since he literally denied me service.
Once again still a great bar. If the owner would like to know who this bartender is let me know.

This place is a nice little pub by my house. All the regulars are good people. The bartender Jamie always knows what I want to drink. Hands down I love bierstube.

I stopped in and ordered the deluxe grilled cheese and the Taste of Deutschland.

On a positive note, the grilled cheese was okay, and for the Taste of Deutschland, the bun, brat, and sauerkraut were not dried out. However, the rest of the platter was terrible. It resembled reheated leftovers that were cooked a few days ago and then reheated in an oven that was too hot. The shank was dried out like jerky, the schnitzel was nearly as dry, and the shredded beef was, I guess, supposed to be sauerbraten? It was bad, and I would not recommend it.

I have been to other Bierstubes, and this dish was pretty good there. I mentioned my concerns to the server, and they said it was hit or miss before just bringing the bill. I would not return or recommend this location.

The food was fine, definitely not that authentic. There are more authentic German restaurants near Stillwater.

The one server was very slow and had zero energy it appeared, the other was friendly. The crowd was not so friendly, which is why I wouldn’t go back.

Went for Bingo. It was fun, and the caller was great. The mini tacos were not good. It was just meat fried in a corn tortilla and a side of sour cream. For $13 it would have been nice to have a little salsa and shredded lettuce or cheese plated with it. Service was fine.

Great atmosphere and food. BINGO on Tuesdays is fun. And pull tabs or e pull tabs all the time.

Parking: Full lot to park in.

Kid-friendliness: They are very kid friendly and have a good kids menu.

Wheelchair accessibility: There are spots for people in wheelchairs.

Slow service; the waitress talked from away from the table. Locals get better treatment than we out-of-towners. You get two dollars off German food on Saturday night, but there is a catch surcharge depending on what you order—I watched the last quarter of the Vikings game while there, and there were two minutes left, no sound from all the TVs that had the game. From overhearing from the bartender, it's a known issue. Food came out quick and hot. Asparagus was flavored with garlic, and German potatoes tasted more like garlic-creamed potatoes. The wiener schnitzel was not authentic German food; it was made in American style.
