We stopped for lunch. I had the steak sandwich and my brother had the shrimp basket. Both were good and reasonably priced. Old school diners are so much better than the fast food or chain restaurants. You won’t regret stopping here.

We ate at Ogilvie recently. No reason to stop in this town except Double J cafe. If you want to feel like you're in the twilight zone or have a time machine, this is the place to go. There cannot be many of these places left. We had an amazing breakfast.

My husband and I were on a "drive" on a beautiful day today. I love having breakfast out as a treat. I have to preface this that I admit I am picky. Was in the service industry for years and cook a lot. We stopped here and ordered the full potato sausage breakfast, hamburger steak breakfast and pancakes. I can honestly say it was one of the best I have ever had. The eggs, perfectly done, sausage, wonderful and pancakes hot, crispy on the edges, tender, oh my, the best I have ever had anywhere. Wonderful service and chef. Thank you, we will be back!
