Through some growing pains of new ownership, this remains the best Chinese takeout option in Maple Grove, no contest. The fried rice is Thai style, and delicious! Sesame chicken is different than anywhere else, crispy and sweet but also a bit of heat. Cream cheese wontons and egg rolls have been just okay, but everything else has been great. We still love Yu Fong! The new owners have made a real effort to connect with their customers and we see that and appreciate it!

Spent over$50 for supper for 4. Lo mein had NO sauce. Pork spring roll was brown and disgusting inside. Brought both back. Clerk would not replace or refund. Even got in a shouting match. Never come back!!

I used to get take out here all the time and I had it rated a 5. Since the new owners have taken over the food is not quite as good as it used to be and whomever I talked to the last time I tried to place an order was rude to me on the phone. Sad to see one of my favorite Chinese restaurants go downhill so fast.

I used to love Yu Fong! But I went tonight for the first time in a while. The chicken for the sweet and sour chicken is not good. The sweet and sour sauce used to have a few veggies in it - not anymore. The wontons were ok and same with the rice. I’m disappointed and I won’t be back. The woman who usually works there wasn’t there so I think there are new owners.

I used to love this place especially the egg rolls and wonton's. I went there tonight and it was completely different. The chicken lomein was made with Ramen noodles and was not good. I hate to say it but LeAnn chins is better. Everything looked felt and tasted different. Must be new owners.

So the original owners are gone and the food changed in a bad way. The beef has a fake smoke flavor and wow did it upset my stomach.
Our other dishes had odd flavors in them (chicken chow mein, pot stickers, fried rice) too...our leftovers will be tossed which has never been the case previously.
Sadly this is the 2nd and probably last time ordering from the new owners as I have been eating YuFong food for almost 20 years!

Sadly this is no longer the original. The food quality drastically has changed in the last several months. We have been long time customers. The fried rice recipe is quite poor, to the extent that Hyvee Chinese is better. The Mongolian beef and chicken recipes and diminished as well. I’m pretty bummed about this and we will be looking for a different place.

We have been ordering from this restaurant for years and was one of our favorites but it appears they are under different owners or management as the food has changed and not in a good way. We always get chicken and garlic sauce and taste of the food was horrible. Could not believe this was same restaurant that we had enjoyed for so many years! We will not be ordering food from them again! So sad !!
