Susie's roadhouse now called the Rusty Boot has awesome food and friendly service in a timely manner. I highly recommend this establishment. It was well worth the 50 minute drive.
The new owners totally revived this place. All the work they did and the place looks great. I definitely don't miss the peanuts and rodents.... so glad they cleaned this place up. Definitely going back now.
UPDATE-I'm so sad to say that when this restaurant changed ownership it just was not the same. Such a bummer. No one can match the old Susie's.Amazing food, excellent wait staff, relaxed atmosphere. Seriously, you will be telling your friends to go there for the ribs! What more can you ask for? Oh yeah, & your kids will get a kick out of tossing their peanut shells on the floor ?
