Do away with the 20% fee when there is a group of people. Everyone that's in that group gets charged 20 %. Not right.

The Otter has been a staple in the Ottertail area as long as I can remember. Always a great spot for food, drinks and entertainment!!

Let's talk food first,
Had a burger that was nothing but rubbery mash that came in between two of the soggiest buns I've ever had. It was as if the buns went through water before getting assembled into the burger. The fries were oddly greasy for being as undercooked as they were. Then comes the beer... Had a Bud Light on tap that was warm, flat, no head, and had a harsh metallic taste...
Then comes the room,
We walked in and all you could smell is some kind of mixture as if it was cat piss, wet dog, and idk vomit. Funny enough they have a sign listed that if someone throws up they will clean it for an additional $250. Seems like it might be a regular occurrence?
Then after going no. 1, the toilet decided to overflow like non other eventually flooding the bathroom!
After over 10 phone calls we finally got a hold of someone and was able to switch rooms.
I feel that if they just took some time to spruce up the place, work on the food, clean the taps or get a fresh keg. It might be a bit better but overall did not have a great experience.
And I will be checking my bank statements and if I find a charge for that toilet, I will be getting a lawyer involved!

The room was clean and nicely decorated. Our room was quiet as it was in a back corner. Staff graciously furnished a hair dryer after two calls asking for one. It would be nice if they put a box of Kleenex in the room. Very, very basic! Room extremely small and claustrophobic especially for the price.

Great place. Large room and comfortable beds. All amenities were as advertised. Registration, check in and out are quick and easy. The hospitality drinks and food were great. Nice convenient location. Loved it.

Food was cold and it wasn't busy enough for the food not to come out hot.

Service was prompt and extremely accommodating - even after hours. Thanks to the SupperClub and Lodge Staff for making a trek from Washington DC to my Minnesota Roots on Route 14 and 32 extremely pleasant as well as meaningful !

Restaurant stuffy and smells like carpet cleaning fluid. Food is good, service ok, atmosphere lousy.

My one complaint was that the room felt damp. A dehumidifier would probably help. Otherwise, check in was a breeze with the unmanned hotel. Bed was fine, plenty of pillows. AC worked well. Happy to find a room last minute.

Great room with nice bed. The balcony was spectacular to enjoy drinks while people and traffic watching. Will definitely be back.

Well I was told when I booked the place that there would be free breakfast, but there was nothing. Not even coffee. Very disappointed. Didn't even have kleenex in the room. Expensive room for no accommodations to go with it.
