I didn't even get to go inside to make my order because somebody didn't show up and they were closed even though it is 10:10 right now. How do you expect to make money if you don't unlock your doors or even show up to work!?

Attitude from staff was horrible. I have worked in the food industry and having a clean station, especially that customers can see is very important, so seeing stations for the blizzards in an absolute disaster and not clean was disgusting. Every time we order food it is wrong every time. I don’t understand how this location is still open.

Owatonna dairy queen has the worst customer service ever and it takes 30 minutes to get ice cream only when there are only 3 cars on line. Terrible terrible place. I had to listen to all the trash talk when I went inside to order. The employee tried to hand me a blizzard with the cup literally dripping off the lid and her hand. I am never going back there. I will choose better next time I want ice cream

Only gave a star because I have to in order post, I wish there was a way to give a negative rating.Absolutely horrible wait time in the drive thru, I waited for 10 minutes behind the car in front of us waiting to order, then when we pulled up I was told they would be with me shortly, then waited for 10 minutes, wasn't sure if they forgot so I asked if anyone was there and was told again they would be with me in a minute and waited another 5 minutes. We only ordered ice cream and we had to wait at the window for another 5 minutes.Owners need to either just close the place or figure out their staffing issues.Will definitely be going to one of the other 3 ice cream shops in town.

I'm not a fan of their food. Ice cream is good but service is not the best (Owatonna location).Flame Thrower burger - I like spicy food, but this burger was not good.Chicken strip basket - this was good but the little gravy container (small container) is consistently half full.Small ice cream cone and medium ice cream cone somehow the same size (small)

I'd give -5 stars. Here's why. It was our turn to order, and they had closed the kitchen because they got busy, after we waited 30 minutes to oder. My gal is also a diabetic and needs to eat. This is 100% unacceptable! Hire more help! You don't do business this way! This happened on 5/7/23. We waited from 730pm till 8pm. If I owned the place, I would do some firing!!

I showed up 20 min to closing I get that’s it late but I was told the kitchen was close with the worst attitude ever. I also just feel that it’s to early to be turning away customers if closing time is 10pm then it should be 10pm. Thought you guys would do better after reopening but it’s still the same

Stopped in for a Blizzard and a Strawberry Malt today....both very good. However the clerk, while standing at the register was talking trash about a customer she had just waited on. I thought she might be on her phone, and finally asked her if she would be taking my order. I had to take this photo to verify how messy the store was. French Fries laying on the floor and malt/blizzard ingredients spilled and containers sitting open. Just wanted to bring this to your attention

The manager was very nice but I could tell she was having a bad day. Only two workers showed up that day so it was very slow. They were also out of the pop my kid wanted. The order was fresh and accurate.

I typically only write reviews when I’ve had a positive experience. I wish I could say it was true at this DQ. I stopped once for lunch, I was told I had to wait a minute for “fresh strips”. I don’t mind waiting for fresh food so I sat and waited. It took longer than they said, which is understandable during lunch time (I went through at about 1:30pm). I was disappointed to find that the chicken & fries didn’t have much heat which doesn’t make sense for fresh food. I chalked it up to the restaurant having an “off” day. Happens to the best of us. I came back the following day for dinner to give it a second shot. Maybe it is because my perception is tainted, I’m not sure, but the employees I interacted with clearly did not want to be there. I’m not expecting my local fast food chain to tell me a joke and give me a pep talk or anything, but they didn’t say “hi” at the window or “have a good day”, I was barely addressed throughout the entire transaction. The wait was lengthy again which cemented my decision in writing this review.

Never had a good experience here. Drive through took 35 minutes. Ice cream was melted. Will not be returning to this location unfortunately

We were one of two couples in the restaurant, ordered at 12:20 and our food didn't come until 12:40. Burgers were slipped together. Cashier was not friendly.

Every single time I go there there’s an issue the computer is down someone throwing drinks in someone’s face they’re rude and quite frankly it’s inconvenient the whole drive-through sorry not gonna lie about my opinion

Hours posted as closing at nine. My coworkers made mobile orders that were supposed to be picked up and ready at 8:01 PM. My coworker got there five minutes early and waited in line for 10 or 15 minutes before finally getting to the windowHe was told they were closed. He told them we had online orders and he told us that we could try and ask for a refund.This place is really going downhill. I do not recommend visiting here I even went during lunchtime and felt like my food tasted funny like the bread was not fresh. I was the only vehicle there and it took an extra long time just for one burger and fries.
