If you want a friendly home town feel this is the place. Ive been coming here for nearly a decade for toastmasters and I look forward to the food as much as I do the meetings. Linda is fantastic!

Good restaurant, in Owatonna's Old downtown. With daily specials every day, with friendly staff and great food.

Overall, it was pretty basic. The double cheeseburger was good but he fries were flavorless. The hot beef and mashed potatoes was very mediocre and the portion was small. Service took forever. We never got refills on our beverages. We ordered pie but after waiting 15 minutes just told them to forget it and got our bill. The back room was decorated nicely. We probably won't come back.

A step back in time. Worst breakfast I have ever had. How can you ruin a pancake?

Our server was good but food, blah. I asked for a hot water with lemon, instead of a glass of cold water. She couldn't find lemon, so just hot water. Charged 1.50!! Hot beef had no flavor. So disappointed

This place reminds of the cafes from from back in the early 70s when the owner started working there. The menu is simple, and the food is great, service is what one would expect of someone who started working there over 50 years ago. The story alone is worth a visit.
