The food was outstanding best its been in a long time we had our 1st date at Timberlodge 23 years ago and come back every year.

Sat down for 20 minutes and never got helped. Wateriest looked at us many times and did nothing.

I had a really great experience! Everytime I come here I’m so warmly welcomed and taken care of. This place is so cozy and the staff makes sure that experience continues! Very very good food and a great variety, from fish, shrimp, steak, and my favorite WOOD SMOKED CHICKEN. I’m telling you, it’s the best chicken ever. Overall very good staff, very good food, amazing place. The location is right off the highway and definitely a must stop if you’re traveling through!!

This place is hit and miss, After last night supper 1/16 not sure we will be back. I ordered the filet, it was cooked to my liking but the steak had no flavor and didn’t come with the peppercorn cream sauce. Once I received the sauce all it tasted of was cream. Salt and pepper go along way. My better half order the prime rib the lumber jack cut. That came out and they just cut the end off, half of it was fat! I have never seen a restaurant service the very end like that. The Auju was water. The loaded back potato had 3 back bits on it. The star of the whole show was the fried Brussels and the green beans we got with our meal. Over all for the price you pay it should be consistent and flavor full.

Grabbed a quick lunch with our hockey team when visiting for a tournament. They were very accommodating. Food and service was great.

I sat at the bar & the bar tender stood there with his back to me for 15 minutes talking & messing with his phone before even acknowledging me. Other customers tried to tell him to turn around, but me ignored them. I still tipped accordingly, like I had good service.Because the food was really good, but i won't won't be back anytime soon. The cook deserves all the tip, not the server. He sucked completely. I couldn't even get a glass of water when my food came to go with it. Yes, I had something to drink at the time, but I like ice water with my meal . I don't think that's asking to much for service....

The food wasn’t bad, but it was just okay—nothing special. The bigger issue was the pricing and tipping. Everyone in our group paid separately, yet we were still charged a mandatory 20% gratuity because they claimed we were a party of 8 or more. That feels misleading at best.

On top of that, the prices are out of control for what you get. It comes across like the business is passing labor costs directly onto customers instead of paying their employees appropriately.

I won’t be returning, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to others. Just a heads-up for anyone considering it.
