Douglas Lodge Restaurant

We ate here several years ago while camping. I still remember it because it was so so good. We had wild rice hotdish and blueberry shakes, one of the best meals we've ever had. Don't know why but we havent been back since then so we are long over due.

Pretty good food and better service.

Really good food, really good service and a great view checking out the hummingbirds. Our family loves coming here.

Fast and friendly service. We had the wild turkey and clubhouse chicken sandwiches. Both were good!

Good experience overall. Enough to choose from on the buffet to make most everyone happy. I would go again.

Fantastic experience! ❤️ Great service, lots of menu options that represent Northern MN the Blueberry pie is amazing! Tater Tot Hot dish is delish and the Cranberry Wild rice bread used in sandwiches OMG! ? The views add the final touch to a great experience. There are limited hours so plan accordingly, not a spot for a late dinner.

Very good and friendly service . One of our favorites and must stop for any meal whenever we visit the State Park. Love their variety of food options. Their shakes /malts are amazing and food is delicious . We got the black bean burger , Hummingbird sandwich, the BLT , Mac & cheese and chicken strip . Everything tasted so good .

Restraint should be open 7 days a week in the summer you rent a cabin plan your vacation want to have breakfast at lodge not outside park staying their for 20 some years this is a big mistake on the lodge

What a fantastic place! This old log lodge is amazing! The area around the lodge is beautiful. The lodge, itself, is pretty amazing. As for the restaurant, super! Wonderful environment and great food... and the prices are super reasonable. You can’t come to Itasca State Park and not visit the Douglas Lodge, the restaurant, and the property surrounding the lodge. You will be glad that you did.

So quite here...very few mosquitoes....just sit back & reflect of the history here.
