Brenda was so nice! She offered tastes of the ice cream before deciding on the mint chocolate chip, birthday cake, & monster cookie scoops. $3.50 for one scoop & $4.50 for two scoops on cake cones or in a cup. Great indoor and outdoor seating. Food looked reasonably priced but just had dessert this time. Friendly staff all around and clean café; will stop here again when visiting.
If you ate breakfast before you came to Itasca State Park you missed out. The cafe has an excellent breakfast burrito 🤤 choose either sausage or bacon inside this sizeable cheesy eggs, peppers, and tortilla. Seriously this thing has to be pushing a pound! Pair with your favorite breakfast beverage.

I highly recommend their chicken wild rice soup in a cream base. The kids enjoyed their hamburgers and hotdogs - especially the ability to add condiments that suited their preferences.
