Atmosphere outpaces the taste. A small little old school pizza place with a plethora of custom pizzas, this pizza “house” will be drawing you in for the eclectic design and decor. However, the food itself is a bit bland and unseasoned, but it came out quick and was hot, so you can’t complain there.
This is a biased review because I grew up in Park Rapids and Rocky's Pizza nights were the best, so I have a lot of nostalgia for it.The pizza is unique. Medium/thick crust vs. what we normally eat, and nice heavy cheese. Rocky's pizza has MASS.Growing up it felt like a town gathering every time we went here. The last few times I've gone in (typically when we're visiting for the holidays--we live in Chicago now) it's been pretty dead. It's sad...
