Stopped for an early dinner. Surprised to find happy hour is 7 days a week. Had a drink and flat iron steak dinner which came with a trip to the salad bar, baked potato, and corn on the cob. Steak was cooked just right. Will definitely go back.
Almost thirty-five years ago I honeymooned here with my ex-wife. I stopped back in on my way through today and, while a lot has changed, the North Woods ambiance and the friendliness of the “new” owners and the locals at Clancy’s is the same if not even better than before, and the food was terrific. I had the broasted chicken, which was crispy, juicy, and perfectly done, real mashed potatoes with country gravy, and the best coleslaw I’ve ever had. The beer was cold and...
We ate Tuesday hamburger special and then back on Thursday night for the taco dinner. Outstanding service and food was great. Awesome atmosphere!! Looking forward to when we get get back up there.
