Had excellent service and quick delivery of food to our table. The prices were quite a bit higher than our favorite Mexican restaurant in Wadena, however the food was good. The seating was in the basement, but the bright colors and decor made it feel bright. One complaint, the music was on loud (Mexican rap?) and kept coming in and off like it was on someone’s Bluetooth…because of the volume and style, it was very hard not to be distracted by it.

The service was exceptional and the food was out of this world. Chips and salsa are provided when you first sit down. We ordered for our kids first and a few minutes later the waiter came back with their food and took our order. With the same speed we all were eating quickly. Everything, and I mean everything was amazing!
This place is a hidden gem of PR. The food was very flavorful and the service was fast. From ordering to eating it was less than 10 minutes! It did feel very rushed though. We had our bill but we were still debating dessert so it did feel rushed. That and we only got one napkin for the entire table until we asked. The milk for the kids meal I thought was included but ended up being an extra $3.15 for a chocolate milk (not refillable). The margaritas were big and stronger than I expected but pretty standard. Flavors were spot on though! I did see a wheelchair elevator ramp but did not see if it was working.
The food was horrible. Had a chile relleno and taco lunch combo. Taco was super greasy and the chili relleno tasted like it was freezer burned. Not going there again and not recommending. Service wasn't great either.

Better off with frozen products from a gas station. One person was vomiting within an hour of eating there. No soap or waste basket in the unisex bathroom that was pointed out to use. Could not add ingredients to an entree as everything is premade.

Great variety. Food comes out pretty fast. Burrito Patrón with Chori Pollo was excellent. Only real complaint is the salsa was a little boring. I'd like some zing, please!
Over the years Vallartas has gone from one of our favorite places to eat in Park Rapids to one that we very rarely patronize, mostly due to the prices. The food is still good, but several items have doubled or more in price in the past couple of years. I understand that everything has increased in price due to inflation, but the price hikes at Vallartas seem to be quite excessive.

We came for a late lunch around 3:30pm on a weekday and were the only customers in the restaurant. It was our first visit, so we had missed the lunch specials that end at 3. We loved the variety of items they offered, but were slightly hesitant due to prices being higher than other Mexican restaurants in the surrounding areas… but it is WORTH IT! The portions are huge (it turns out to be 2 full meals if you take the to go box since the burrito molcajete was ginormous!!), the food was delicious (the vallartas shrimp & xangos for dessert was awesome!), and the service was pleasant and fast! It looks like they have done and are still working on some renos, but it is an enjoyable space with great artwork. Will definitely be visiting again!

Rating is absolutely 0. if I could give them a negative 10, I would.. A few weeks ago, they totally sent the wrong menu item. This time I was charged double and showed them the deduction from my account and offered to have my bank call them. They were very argumentative both times. I eventually got 1 charge refunded (it wasn't easy.)
