Food was fantastic, service is friendly but slow because of the small kitchen there. If you go plan for a couple hours, but the food is worth the wait.

This is my husbands favorite restaurant! We had our rehearsal dinner here in June and I couldn’t be happier with the service!! Best chicken around!! Thank you again!

The chicken was OK to Good. But we waited over an hour. Our server never checked on us despite being close by. After well over TWO HOURS we wanted just one thing...the check so we could pay and get out. The section we were in was dark and did not feel remarkably clean. Won't be back.

Chet’s chicken is a local favorite with famous chicken. The coating of the chicken was developed by the owner many years ago and is flavorful and keeps even the white pieces moist. Older building, but clean. It has a small salad bar but everything on it is excellent Staff are friendly. They don’t credit cards but have a ATM. With a larger group consider reservations.

45 minute wait for flavorless, cold prime rib and dry (but at least it was hot) chicken. Kid's chicken strips and fries took the same amount of time. Salad bar is ok. They forgot the drinks 3 times. Cash only, which is not a complaint just a heads up. They do have an ATM (has a usage fee).

So. Father’s Day is obviously busy. As is Mother’s Day. This year we lost my little brother and both my parents wanted Chet’s for their days. Mother’s Day was great. Father’s Day was a disaster. We had a reservation yet waited nearly 2 hours for food. With little kids. And after waiting all that time was told they were out of chicken. I mean what?!? The salad bar was missing half the ingredients including ranch dressing. The waitress was barely seen. The soda was flat. And did I mention it to 2 hours to get food? With a reservation? Not impressive.

Our server was efficient, the salad bar was very good but the chicken was greasy on the outside and dry on the inside. Even the thigh was dry 😏

Chet's has been my favorite restaurant for years! Food is so good, nice friendly staff and family atmosphere. So much history there. Great salad bar. Love the jumbo shrimp and their chicken is the best. Great memories.
