The Prime Rib was so good it makes many other prime rib joints seem like they should not even be in business. The atmosphere made me feel like I was going back in time to the great supper clubs of the 70s, only thing missing was cigarette smoke in the air at Chet’s .

Went to Chet's Lakeside Inn with my Dad for dinner. As always, it was delicious & the staff were delightful! The chicken was so perfectly done as usual. The batter was golden, crispy & buttery while the inside was juicy & full of flavor throughout. Ive never had chicken that falls off the bone like it does at Chets. Sadly, I don’t get there as often as I’d like to but that makes it all the more amazing when I do. The atmosphere is always busy and buzzing with conversations from corner to corner. One little hint, make a reservation as they get very busy very quickly. Even at their busiest, the service is the best.

Got in right after opening, fourth in line, took over an hour to get our order, wife had the prime rib and chicken special, she said it was good. I had the seafood shipwreck, walleye and cod were exteremly overcooked, shrimp were good though. Service friendly but very slow.

One of my favorite parts of visiting Minnesota is Chet's Lakeside Inn chicken 🐔 😍 It is the best fried chicken you will ever eat!

We have went here for years it has went downhill. The service from the time we walked in until getting our bill was not friendly plus the ribs were not worth the money! 😔

Food was fantastic, service is friendly but slow because of the small kitchen there. If you go plan for a couple hours, but the food is worth the wait.
