So I thought I would give this another try since it had been about a year and some friends were going. Our Service was great, Pizza was delicious! The gal working last night 1/18/24 was very attentive to our needs :) Much

Pizza was incredible; a recipe you'd expect from a bigger city or town... Our bartender Megan was lively, enjoyable to converse with and mutually entertaining... I liked the porch and openness of the dining room as well... Would like to see it in full swing in the summer... I met the owner; her husband was on vacation but she was reasonably cautious of strangers yet friendly and inviting... I hope they enjoy many memorable and profitable years ahead of them

Dinner last night at Big Pine Lodge. Sorry to bother them. Ordered a glass of white wine came out with a glass of ice. Server said “she” forgot to put it in the frig to cool. Hmmm? Ordered the shrimp basket 10 min later oops sorry out of shrimp. Okay no problem we are easy to please. We ordered the cod basket. 30 min later it came with the crust almost burned. Now I know this just comes in a bag they deep fry and I rarely complain but this should never left the kitchen. The fries were not so bad just a little limp??? The server apologized and said the fish always looks like that? But she did bring us new fish that were much better. Very tasty actually. Everyone at the table ordered pizza. That looked pretty good but everyone’s pizza was also very dark. The restaurant was not busy. Maybe 4 tables with customers. I think the cook was having a bad night. We try to visit the local restaurants but this was truly a challenge. Wish I had taken a picture.

This restaurant is located at an older resort on a lake. It is surrounded by campers and can be hard to find a parking spot. The outdoor patio is excellent as it looks over the lake and boat docking area. The inside is getting run down but is okay. Does have nice big windows looking outside. We went with a group of 10 at 6pm on a Thursday and got right in which was great. Our family of 5 paid about $120 including tip for dinner plus 4 beers. The pizza was really good, chicken tenders were not good-they were similar to chicken nuggets with sauce drizzled on them. Chicken sandwich was cold and rubbery, but the onion rings were really good! Beers were cold. I would go back for a couple of drinks on the deck and a pizza, but not for a full meal as I didn't feel it was worth the money.

This was our first time here and we had the absolute best experience! Our food and drinks were amazing and our waitress, Megan, was the best we’d ever had! She was incredibly attentive and personable. Her manager, Lisa, seemed to be a bit of a Debby downer which dampened the experience a bit, but we will absolutely come back for Megan’s incredible service!
