I stopped in for the New Year's brunch and had the Cordon Bleu breakfast sandwich. Tried 2 bites and really did not like it. My asked me how it was and I said it was not good, but she did not offer me something else or give me a discount on my bill, so I paid $25 for a cold brew and some tater tots. Pretty disappointing.
Excellent food and service!

We have always loved the Brew, but , sadly, not this summer. My pulled pork sandwich had 3 small chunks of meat, 2 chunks of pure fat. The pickles and slaw were good. The spiral chips were WAY past golden...closer to burnt. It was not crowded, yet service was very slow. However, the server was very friendly. Best thing about other two orders was the sweet potatoe fries. Several other visits this summer were similar results. Previous experiences prior to this year were wonderful. I'm not sure what the issue is, but things are moving in wrong direction.

I just had the worst Reuben sandwich at the Brew. a few tablespoons of chopped brown meat, some kind of white cheese spread, and a ton of saurkraut. I threw away the half I took home. very expensive too. I won't be back.
Excellent food and drinks, the nachos are phenomenal and the tacos were fantastic.

Stopped for an impromptu visit while doing the Trollhunt. Really nice atmosphere, clean and new, with a nice patio. Had a beer from Modist and partner had a fancy Bloody Mary. We split a breakfast poutine - which was very good. Definitely recommend if you’re in the area.

I cannot even begin to tell you how delicious the food is! Our server was a gentleman, I feel like we hardly had to wait for our food and the food was so good ?

Got a burger, it tasted ok but the patty was real thin. The bun was somewhat dry and falling apart also. Bun to meat ratio was not good. Overall a big disappointment to both myself and my father who was with and also got a burger. Maybe their other options are better, but the burger has much to be desired.

What a treat to discover Brew Ales while visiting Perham! We were warmly greeted by staff immediately upon arrival. We chose to sit on the patio because it was a beautiful and quieter than indoors. It was a lovely, albeit very warm, day. We had a nice spot with an umbrella, the breeze was blowing and the Rhubard Mule hit the spot!
Our waitress Jasmin was so attentive! When we ordered we quickly and casually mentioned we were sharing the main course and she caught that. Because when she brought all our food she had the kitchen split our main entree (which was delicious!) on separate plates! I was very impressed with her enthusiasm and attentiveness on such a hot and humid day!
The main entree we shared was a pulled pork sandwich with a side of sweet potato fries. The side sauce with those fries was outstanding and so different than the typical ranch dressing. It was a sweet, creamy, maple flavor with a kick. A wonderful addition to try with sweet potato fries!
I also have to mention I noticed a staff named Matt assisting the patio table further down from us and he brought all the children at that table extra beverages with kids (without the customers requesting it) and I heard the family remark how thoughtful that was and how impressed THEY were with his thoughtfulness.
Thank you Brew Ales for not just making delicious food and drinks, but for hiring such top notch individuals who clearly care about their customers well beyond just serving them food. What a wonderful afternoon you made it for us!

My wife and I stopped in after a day of exploring the trolls in Detroit Lakes. We had the bison burger, brisket quesadillas and a house salad with house made blue cheese. The service was amazingly fast. I would highly recommend the stop if you are anywhere close. We will go back again because the food was that good and we live in Anoka county.

Some inspired cooking. Kudos to the cooks. I recommend the lettuce rolls and Korean tacos. This place is a bit expensive for rural Minnesota. At these prices one would expect a lake view and not so much train noise.
