I usually only give 5 star reviews, but after my husband left me I’ve been rethinking my outlook on life. Sometimes businesses need a kick in the rear to step up their game. The roof leaks, the floor creaks, there’s a terrible draft. The winters are harsh, the summers are brutal. Other guests have told me there’s a wild man-eating clam in the backyard (Steve’s wife).

As a former cook here I was at first super grateful for the job but I soon learned why it was so easy to get hired. As the ONLY cook I never got time off or was able to take off time for sickness or other reasons. The kitchen is never cleaned mopped or anything sanitized. I only made my own food and it was never anything with meat unless I opened it fresh and cooked it myself. The food I made I tried my best and got great reviews from customers however they expected me to also be a sever and hand out food with no idea who ordered it and got 0% of the tips even tho I was dealing with customers 1 on 1 as a cook that is not my job. As for the owners Steve was amazing super nice and kind the other one however was never even there and when she was was not kind to me at all even tho we never even properly met. I hope you don’t eat here.

$5.40 for a Coors Light. Prices are horrible. The place is terrible!!! Stay away!!!

I was a bartender at this bar and they fired me for looking for another job that won't steal our credit card tips. The owners treat their employees like garbage and laugh at customers about problems they had at the bar. They don't train anyone in you have to learn as you go. Everything is about them and them only. As a employee I would never eat there I have seen the kitchen and how gross it truly is in the back. Water leaks everywhere to the point I had to try and be a plummer one day. Please stay away from this place so you don't have to deal with the owners. If I would have known who this lady was before I started I would have never worked for her and stealing tip money from the people who earned them is sad. Wish nothing but the worst for this bar. We made 170 dollars in credit card tips. We got credit for 106 dollars of it. I still have every message to prove it. If I was such a bad bartender then why was I the one working almost ever day opened have all the codes to safes doors and locks. Maybe it's time for the owner to grow up quit cutting down their customers and stay away from the bar

This place doesn’t allow dogs.. I would rather know that before me and my husband saw the huge sign outside, but website and google link don’t say anything about it. I recommend have this information on your website visibly !! That would save time a lot of people who are not from this area… it’s not really fun drive back and forth in this weather like idiots just because someone doesn’t have important information like that on their web….. Thanks!!

stoped after boating all afte4 noon. menu has shrunkin. don't get the nachos as the "beef" was corn beef hash. my long Island was mostly coke?! but atmosphere is amazing love the people and employees. fix the food and it would be amazing. bartender and waitress were amazing. took my 4 year old here.

If you look at the most recent review before mine you can tell the owner, Sheri, is a very rude person… as I am related to a old workers that used to work there … she is not fair to her employees and have even mistreated her loyal customers that no longer go, do to her. She likes to put the blame on everyone else besides herself.. most of the reviews you may see of Dale are not true about him.. MATTER OF FACT HE QUIT…. She wishes she fired him.. obviously she’s got her own stuff she’s dealing with and needs to get it together… hopefully one day Sheri you find peace to not be bad mannered to those that actually gave you business and finally quit the high ego you think you got. Oh if anyone is curious to know if dale is happy at his new job HE IS! If anyone actually knows Dale he’s a very honest and kind man! Go check him out at Lake Appeil!

I don't often feel the need to share my negative experiences, but service has exponentially plummeted ever since Dale, the bartender left. I was shocked by the attitude and straight nastiness that poured out of sheri’s mouth. She was incredibly rude, looked me up and down, and scoffed at me when I politely asked for a refill. Not to mention the bathroom was covered in piss and she double-charged my card. You could not pay me to step foot in this location once more, really too bad.

Our last outing, we stopped by the Lakeside Pub. We had appetizers and a couple cocktails. The food was very good, service was great, friendly, attentive and welcoming. I will definitely stop again on our way through Pine City. It was very relaxing!! Loved the tiki bar.

had such a great time here! great pizza, definitely not frozen! drinks are super good, love the arcade area. the cook that brought out my food was very prompt and respectful asking if we need anything else. wasn’t too busy besides one group that was pretty rude to the staff but they handled it professionally which is always nice to see! will be back!

The food came out hot and fast. The atmosphere and the views were great.
They have updated the place and we found it a great place go with an arcade for the kids, a beautiful quiet area to chat with views of the lake, and of course the regular bar area.
When it is busy, you may have to use the Kiosk for ordering food, but we are from the cities, we are quite used to this. I definitely recommend!
