Maxwell's Southern BBQ & Fresh Meats

Maxwell’s Southern BBQ’s food truck was at an event we attended , we tried the ribs, pulled pork and brisket and all were absolutely amazing. Highly recommend!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Maxwell Southern BBQ Food Truck, and I must say, it was a five-star experience from start to finish. The moment I arrived, the hospitality was evident, with the staff demonstrating an exceptional level of friendliness and warmth. It truly felt like stepping into a welcoming family gathering rather than just a place to eat.

The highlight of the meal was undoubtedly the BBQ. The ribs were cooked to perfection, boasting a smoky flavor and a tender texture that made them simply irresistible. Each bite melted in my mouth, and the seasoning was spot on—just the right amount of spice that enhanced the natural flavors of the meat without overpowering it.

Alongside the ribs, the sides were nothing short of amazing. The Southern rice was flavorful and perfectly cooked, while the mac and cheese was creamy and comforting. The coleslaw offered a refreshing crunch, balancing the richness of the BBQ, and the potato salad was delightful, with just the right amount of seasoning. It's clear that a lot of thought and care went into crafting each side dish, making my meal well-rounded and satisfying.

Overall, my experience at Maxwell Southern BBQ Food Truck was fantastic. Sadly, we have nothing even remotely good to compare this to in Alberta, Canada. The combination of delicious food, exceptional hospitality, and a welcoming atmosphere made it a memorable outing. SO GOOD! Definitely recommend. The ribs were delicious, the home made potato salad and coleslaw were incredible. Such a wonderful place to stop for lunch, super friendly peope.

Sat for an hour only to be told there was no bbq to eat. Off the limited menu not a great experience

We stumbled upon this amazing BBQ place while traveling and so glad we did! My husband got ribs, Mac and cheese and delicious cornbread and said it was amazing. My half chicken, Southern rice and coleslaw was so delicious! (I'm gluten free and could have ordered almost everything on the menu)
We highly recommend Maxwell's!!
The chef/owner came out to see how we liked everything and he's was a very nice man.
BTW it is a little hard to find though... It's actually inside the bar Three Twenty Brewing Company with no signage outside.

Stopped for lunch one Saturday in January, Both pulled pork and brisket sandwich were the best ever had! The meat is excellently smoked and tasty, not drenched in BBQ sauce. All sides were delicious, seemed homemade, and very fresh. Mac & Cheese was great. We were impressed! So we ordered a large order for a gathering and we were not disappointed! Ribs were fall off the bone and lots of homemade BBQ provided on the side. Cornbread is divine. Owner and staff all very accommodating and friendly, an excellent stop when on the road and near Maxwell's in Pine City. Stop in if you love BBQ you will not be disappointed!

We had gone in for a lentin meal and they had a buffet containing catfish in shrimp we never tried catfish before the owner brought us a big fillet of catfish turns out that was one of the best pieces of fish I've ever had definitely will be back there

Food was good, had the ribs, tender, sweet sauce. Wife said the smoked chicken was dry and tasteless.
