Glad a different restaurant didn't work out otherwise I won't have made it to this gem. Very good service and the broasted chicken dinner came with homemade chicken dumpling soup. Good value for good food.

We were looking for somewhere to get breakfast on our way home (north) from the Twin Cities and stumbled across this place on Google just a few miles of I-35. Very cozy atmosphere, friendly and attentive staff and the food was AMAZING!! Farm fresh fare at a very reasonable price! We had the Southwest Skillet, the apple fritter french toast, and based on reviews had to try the chicken dumpling soup. Food came out quick and hot and after eating we popped over to the meat market side and got some brauts, bacon and hot Italian sausage. Prices in the meat market were very reasonable and we're super excited to try the stuff we got! Would definitely come back and recommend to anyone traveling through looking for a breakfast/lunch spot or some fresh meat from the market!

Broasted chicken was burnt tasting, like they forgot to change the oil.

I had not eaten here since they moved from there original location. To be honest I didn't know they moved as we live in the twin cities. Had the hot roast beef sandwich. The best I've had that I recall. Very generously sized portions.

Great Food! Service can be a bit slow sometimes, but I eat here pretty much every time I’m in town. It’s Rock Creek! lol It’s a good little restaurant so if you’re passing through I wouldn’t be afraid to come here. Pine city has a few others, but this one is the best out of the lot of them in that area.
Hope that helps!

Clean bathroom. Huge parking lot with plenty of room. Not a bad place, just your basic small town eatery.

Nice clean little cafe with good food and friendly service. Good selection of items on the menu and breakfast is served all day. Nice selection of desserts as well, picked up a few things at their small meat market that I haven't tried yet.
Food is very good and so was the service!

Hashbrowns need work but aside from that, meal was hot, great flavor. Ham was great, eggs were well cooked, toast is more like Texas toast. Servers were friendly, but need to be more observant of customer needs, refills, etc. Like the abience.
Parking: Unpaved parking lot but plenty of space.

The smoked turkey had just the right amount of smoke for me. It was quite delicious. The meal was served quickly.
The only issue was that the waitress asked how everything was like 6 times during the meal. Sometimes, it was within 4 minutes of asking the last time. Twice would have been sufficient.
Overall, it was a good experience and would go back.
