Glad a different restaurant didn't work out otherwise I won't have made it to this gem. Very good service and the broasted chicken dinner came with homemade chicken dumpling soup. Good value for good food.
We were looking for somewhere to get breakfast on our way home (north) from the Twin Cities and stumbled across this place on Google just a few miles of I-35. Very cozy atmosphere, friendly and attentive staff and the food was AMAZING!! Farm fresh fare at a very reasonable price! We had the Southwest Skillet, the apple fritter french toast, and based on reviews had to try the chicken dumpling soup. Food came out quick and hot and after eating we popped over to the meat market...
I had not eaten here since they moved from there original location. To be honest I didn't know they moved as we live in the twin cities. Had the hot roast beef sandwich. The best I've had that I recall. Very generously sized portions.
