Wonderful old hotel, hard to find the help, but the rooms and ambiance make up for it. Id stay againRooms: Beautiful antique rooms and comfortableFood & drinks: Nice little coffee shop inside.Noteworthy details: Full of history. Very haunted
Historic Pipestone Hotel with nice furniture and rooms, including room refrigerators and microwaves. We had a large family and friends weekend, and everyone enjoyed their rooms and stay. The hotel is even pet friendly in the rooms. It would be more convenient for guests if the hotel coffee shop was open for breakfast.
The Place is scary it looks haunted and it feels strange. The antique furniture is beautiful but everything else is like walking into a haunted house
What an amazing building. Loved the tubs in the rooms. Didnt get a chance to eat at the restaurant but will be doing so in the future, also the coffee shop. Such a fun vibe, great prices and DOG FRIENDLY. Which is huge for us.

Didn't get to stay. Didn't answer phone or return voice mail or written messages. Lobby area was not welcoming. Dark and dingy. Very poor customer service.
They never returned my phone call so that I could reserve a room. I left a message at the front desk and also one on the answering machine. The lobby was cold and not clean. I wouldn't recommend this place
LOVED the decor that they had in the hotel. Stayed for my golden birthday and it was fun! Such an old timey antique vibe for certain. We stayed in room 210 king suite and that bed was so dang comfortable. Hubby and I slept in until 8 and we are up at 5:30 type of people. We ate at the Cals Cafe my husband had the Black Russian- 5/5 delicious! I had the Rueben 5/5 we both had onion rings. Super delicious, highly recommended the hotel and the cafe. Staff was very. Friendly and chatty asking about sights we had seen, 5/5 hotel all the way around. Loved the olden style toilets in the bathroom too

Best burgers in town! I will only order my burgers from Calumet.
Very cool building built in 1888, so it has some quirks. I’d recommend asking for a room on the 2nd floor as those look a bit more put together. Don’t expect too many modern amenities but the experience and price make it worth it.
Came to get a to go order. Stood at the counter for 20 minutes.. food wasn’t ready. Email told me when to be here. There was one table seated. No waitress to be seen. Won’t order from here again. By the time I get the food back to work, break time will be over for the people I ordered for.

Great food and great service!
Lovely old building. It had everything I wanted and expected in a historic hotel. Nifty antiques were everywhere. Literally the only complaint I have is that a lot of the carpet seemed out place style wise. Will definitely be staying here again when I'm in the area.
Good food price is very friendly on pocket book, friendly staff clean place
I only came to this hotel to stay in room 308 as i am curious if the stories were true. So i just stayed in 308 for the night and was expecting some action but didnt notice anything amiss. Granted it was a bit warm for my liking but room was clean and comfortable price is ok considering its kind of an attraction here. Anyway as for it being haunted its hard to say i didnt notice anything in the room i stayed in. Howevee 1 thing that was strange is that the entire night i could hear someone pacing back and forth above my room in 308. I asked in the morning and the receptionist said noone was staying in those rooms so thats interesting. Somewhat disappointed was expecting alot more activity.
Came here from hotel hell, cant say much because I haven't been here. Just hope the staff are having a better life in here.
