The food is really good!
We went for lunch with our family and everything about the experience was wonderful! We did the Hibachi grill and the chef made the experience very memorable for our kids (and us!). Staff is very kind. Can’t wait to come back.
Dear everybody that had to deal with camp, I'm Wendell Gunnink, I hope everybody can go to camp, been on my mind a long time. If you don't maybe you can work something out or talk together on the computer. Hopefully God will keep everyone together. I know in my heart how important it is to people that have special needs that they get to camp every year. I wanted you to know I was thinking of you all and whatever god will fix and may everybody be together again, have a good time, make new friends. I love you all and God loves you all too.
We took our 4 year old grandson. He had such a blast!
Sushi was on point. I will definitely be ordering from here again! Very good spot
The food was excellent and the waitress was excellent and the wagyu was excellent. All around an excellent experience.
We love the happy hour!! Highly recommend, especially the Mai Tai drinks! $4 sushi rolls, ect. It does end at 5:30 though. Shout out to the best and most kind bartenders too!
Restaurant needs a little freshing up. Had lunch. My shrimp fried rice was a mound of rice with soy sauce and chopped baby shrimp on top. Tasteless. My grandson had California roll with imitation crab and he got sick before he got home.

Kobe has the best filet in town! And unlike other hibachi restaurants, they cook the seafood perfect! I only wish they had squid steaks!

This is my first time here, my son wanted to try this place for his b'day dinner. I made a reservation at 7pm, it was not until 7:30pm when we got our seat.
The server takes our order for drinks. When our drinks come out, they’re wrong. Next we get our soups and salads delivered but notice not all of us were provided with forks, so I had to asks for forks. Our cook was phenomenal job entertaining us, so I tipped him when he was done cooking. We all enjoyed the food, but for my taste it needs more seasoning (it is personal preference).
Then I saw the server and receptionist ran out after me stated I didn't tip and I must tip her, in front of customers that were walking out from restaurant. I was confused, embarrassed and caught off guard of that happened.
I pointed to the sign on the restaurant window, 16% tip was charged/added to the bill. That's the reason i didn't put down additional tip on the bill, knowing that 16% has been added. The server stated the sign was incorrect (but this large sign is posted on their building). She went on to tell me if I didn’t tip her, that her employer would take from her pay check to pay the cook. I told her I have tipped the cook. She demanded I paid the tip.
I chose not to spend anymore time talking with the server, I tipped $55.00.
How can a restaurant forced and demanded tip from customer? My understanding tipping is not a mandatory. This is so bizarre, upsetting and embarrassing.
Because of this incident, I will not be going to Kobe’s ever again and certainly will not recommend it to anyone. I will inform this with the Better Business Bureau.

Never been to Kobe’s before. We decided to plan ahead and make a reservation to try avoid a potential long wait time to be seated. We arrive on time and notice they are busy, so we’re glad we made reservations. When checking in, we give our reservation name and told us we’ll be seated shortly. Un-behold 30 minutes pass by before being seated. As routine the server takes our order for drinks. When our drinks come out, they’re wrong. Next we get our soups and salads delivered but notice not all of us were provided with forks, so we had to asks for forks. Will say our cook was phenomenal job entertaining us! Did such an outstanding job entertaining us we tipped him when he was done. We all enjoyed the food , but will say the seasoning that is used for the fried rice, veggies, and steak was very bland. What was most upsetting was when we finished and after walking out of the restaurant, our server and receptionist ran out after us accusing us that we didn’t tip. Our server went on to tell us if we didn’t tip her (after previously tipping) and if we didn’t tip that her employer would take the tip she accused us of not paying out of her pay check. Please beware of the scam some of their servers are running. We will not be going to Kobe’s ever again and certainly will not recommend it to anyone. I will be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.
