I placed a large order for delivery for a party I hosted and was beyond impressed. The food was delicious, arrived exactly on time, and was a surprisingly affordable alternative to catering. I had some questions about my order and called the staff, they were very helpful and patient with me. Thank you Lago Tacos!

As a Mexican, I would say that the food was nowhere near authentic. My taco looked like it put on a pan for a couple seconds. My food was cold… but the servers were nice and attentive, and the atmosphere was warm too.

We got our meals take out, and the food was delicious! Loved the deep fried avocado, and the corn cakes!

Say hello to Sarah (with an "H")...our new favorite waitperson at Lago Tacos in Minneapolis. We were visiting our son who recently moved into Excelsior & Grand across the street from Lago Tacos and after a long flight it was just a short walk to what is now our favorite Mexican restaurant. We had a wonderful lunch and great conversation & laughter with Sarah...she made our visit that much nicer! The Chips and Queso as an appetizer were spot on and the Spicy Grilled Chicken Tacos were cooked to perfection and very filling. We also ordered the Chop Salad with Shrimp which was amazing with perfectly prepared shrimp and great flavor. We will be visiting our son in a couple of months and will definitely be stopping into Lago Tacos for a meal. 10 out of 10 stars...thank you Sarah. See you soon. L, John & Jean

As a Mexican, this restaurant is definitely not authentic and gives me Baja Sol vibes. I ordered a steak bowl for 18.50 and it only had 5 fajita strips of meat. The flavors are underwhelmingly bland and they are very overpriced. I had a 10 oz. Margarita for 13.00 when I can have a 20 oz margarita at an authentic Mexican restaurant for about the same price.

If you are looking for authentic food, there are other options within a 6 mile radius.

The chicken sandwich had no seasoning and was so dry we couldn’t eat it. Sesame chicken tacos were so overwhelmingly sweet. We’re so excited to try it but so disappointing!

Outrageous pricing for some of the worst tacos i’ve had. Cold queso, tacos that have absolutely no flavor, not an ounce of seasoning present, mushy fish and bone dry chicken. For $75 we had a few bites and left the rest on the table. Fast food would have been better

1st time at the Plymouth location. The kitchen got the order wrong. Waitress and manager took care of it immediately, and the correct hot food was delivered, and it was delicious. The decaf couple

The food was great! Had lemon garlic shrimp soft flour shell tacos, empanadas, queso dip and chips and mini margaritas. Very good flavors! My only complaint is that the booth seating is very tight. I will return.

Service was decent. Meat was really good. The rice and lettuce tasted like they were pre packaged.
