Our first time there. The place is practically another tokyo sushi. Even the menu is exactly the same. We went in right before the dinner rush so therevwas no wait and the atmosphere was fine. Service was good but they should put another person on schedule. Got a bit busy and only so much one guy can do for so long. The fried rice and chicken wings were fine. The short ribs and pepper steak could use a bit more seasoning. The sweet & sour chicken and the sesame chicken were bland even with the sauce. Had 6 of their sushi rolls and half of them was good while the other half was just ok. Some of the rolls started to fall apart once you try to pick em up. The sashime were cut up into huge chunks and practically just defrosted. The salt & pepper shrimp was good. Spent a little over $200 on a family of 8. Could have been an off night but I don't think I'll be going back.

Decided to visit after 2 years and they are just as terrible as I remember...

Terrible food, frozen sashimi, cold dishes that were just sitting around. Short ribs are the only thing good here and they cut that in half per serving now too. Eel sashimi, small pieces with triple rice to fill you up.. they also haphazardly just cut the fish. They obviously have no experience with cutting fish or were just told to cut it however to make the right quantity to save money...

Will not go back. Not bad service just terrible food and servers have nothing to do about it.

Very good. You order and they bring it out. NOT a buffet. Lots to choose from and price was fair for everything you get. They finished us off with icecream.

The waiter we had was amazing he made it worth it.... in my opinion I don't eat enough to get the all you can eat... so a little spendy.. but he gave us recommendations and was amazing.... wish I remembered his name

All you can eat, really good sushi. Food comes out piping hot. For all you can eat table service the price is a good deal. Every time I've been here everyone has been kind and very helpful.

Have ordered carry out multiple times and they never disappoint! Everything we have tried within our comfort has been amazing! Dined in one time and the food was even better. Staff was very friendly and helpful when we asked questions about certain dishes or ingredients. Highly recommend!

Price and food was fantastic! I wish they had a sign stating how much it was before we got the bill, but it was still delightful

My boyfriend and I have been regulars at Takara, often spending around $100 after tip for the all-you-can-eat. We’ve always enjoyed the food, which is why we kept coming back but unfortunately, this last visit will be our final one.
We arrived around 8:45 PM, knowing the restaurant closes at 9:30 PM (as listed online). After placing our first order, the server came back almost immediately asking us to place our second because they were “about to close.” By 9:05, we were told they had already put items away and that they actually close at 9:15 contradicting what’s posted online.
It felt rushed and unfair to pay full price for all-you-can-eat when we weren’t given the chance to fully enjoy it. We’ve always appreciated the food here, but the way this was handled was disappointing. We won’t be returning!

The vanilla ice cream is ridiculously good.

Everything else that we ordered was fantastic as well. Lots of options to try.
