Tamarac Resort & Campground LLC

We have had our camper at Tamarac Resort and Campground for about 7 years now. We absolutely love going to the lake as many weekends as we can in the summer months. The campground is beautiful and very well taken care of. Many playgrounds and things to do for the kids (very kid friendly resort). Nice big dog park to let the pups run. Tennis and basketball court. Numerous canoes, kayaks, paddle boats and paddle boards for people to use along with life jackets. They also have cabins for rent if you need that option. We have loved our time at Tamarac and have made many wonderful lifelong friends along the way. I would highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a place to camp. Whether you are looking for a cabin for a week or a spot to spend the whole summer, give then a call!!!

Great seasonal resort to spend your summer! Spacious camper sites, fabulous newly built cabins, tons of amenities, great swimming beach, 4 playgrounds, tennis/basketball court and clean bathhouses! The owners keep the property very well maintained and ensure it’s a quiet and safe resort for all guests and seasonal renters. We’ve been renting a site for nearly a decade and I can’t see us spending our summers any other way!

Love this place! Great location with a lake that is nice and quiet. The resort grounds immaculate! The owners take great pride in making sure everything looks good and is safe for everyone. If you have kids, this is a great place. Many different playgrounds and nice beach. Owners add something new almost each year. We have made some life long friends here. Large private seasonal spots. It’s not field where you can touch your neighbor like some other seasonal resorts. Cabins are great if you are looking for a getaway!

Owners are very rude. They also accuse people of doing things you have not done. And it ridiculous things. If you prove to them that you are right. There is no apology. One of the many things she has said to us were " kids need to be on leashes". That was just of the many things that were said. We were already looking for a new campground the first year we were there. It was not a family friendly environment and very uncomfortable to be there. That's why you go to the lake I thought was to relax. But instead our family felt the opposite. We have found a new spot to camp and ate excited to camp our camper elsewhere next year where we can be comfortable. It's kind of funny how some of the other campsites we looked at all knew about tamarac resort and it's owners. Nothing good to say. I am just glad we got out and found a new campground for us to go to.

we had camped there for several years. not wanting to leave because of the wonderful friendships that we made with the other campers. but finaly couldnt take the managment any longer. Shelia and her husband and son are the only people running the place. Sheila cant be trusted. she becomes very anxious and bipolar like and will accuse guests and children of being destructive and bad people. there is no resturant or bar as advertised. they have a very large burning pile that is now attracting mice, rats and skunks. she only thinks of you as $$. dont let her fool you. too bad nice location

$ adults and two grand children stayed in cabin 3 and had a great time. The weather was very hot , windy and stormy . We had two days of excellent fishing because it was windy the other days. What I observed was Shelia was very hard working in keeping the resort clean and well kept. Ice cream cones were great. I would stay there again !!! The plus is location not to far D.L.A good value for your money !!!!

We have a cabin on Round Lake but we have family that have campers in the campground. When we come to visit we allways feel welcome by the owners Sheila & Randy. Hard scoop Ice cream on Sunday's are our routine stop before heading home.

Get place for camping kid friendly

A place to tent camp and get a shower for $10!Almost all campers are seasonal RVs. I am guessing mostly from the Fargo area who come on weekends.I was there on a week day and was the only one in the placeCommunication was great in advance and check in very thorough, including the suggestion I leave my food in the laundry room (occasional bears).I didn't get the tip on the resort beach. I saw signs pointing, but the beach appeared occupied by a festive family with a lake front home. I didn't want to crash the party, so missed my lakeside sunset.I was warned that lawn mowing began at 8AM and had planned an early departure.

Owners are extremely rude, confrontational and falsely accuse your family of ridiculous things. 10/10 recommend never booking here.

I have been with Tamarac Resort for going on 8 years. The place is beautifully maintained and Randy & Shiela make everyone feel like family, the activities they do for the children are so much fun all summer, My granddaughter grew up at the resort and it was a great feeling knowing she was always safe. The one year Shiela painted their hands and the put them all over the canoe planters throughout the resort, I still love seeing them all over. They hold 4 th of July parade every year and winner gets a trophy the kids have a great time as they score candy It’s family friendly, beautifully maintained and a VERY SAFE Place for you and your family to spend your summers

Owners are extremely rude, confrontational and falsely accused my family’s integrity. Extended family wished to reserve a camper spot in addition to the cabin we rented for the week... the owners called the extended family to say they cannot stay here because the family that is here are liars. No idea what they think we lied about. The owners, specifically the woman, are not the kind of people you want to vacation with. 10/10 do not recommend staying here.

Owners are horrible. You can not relax here.... repeat repeat repeat..... Our family was humiliated by the way we were treated. There is a reason there are spots available.

This is our first year owning a camper trailer.Sheila was very helpful.We are looking forward to our first year of camping with this resort.It has a lot of amenities that we are looking forward to using.
