Porterhouse in Little Canada is our favorite go-to steakhouse but because I work close by the new Prime Steakhouse in Blaine, I thought we should try it. After reading the good and bad reviews, I just couldn't even justify taking a risk of being disappointed not only with the potential of poor service and not cooking the food properly the first time, but the reviews about how much more expensive it is, confirmed that we will go enjoy the established Porterhouse Steak House. And we did!! And we loved it as usual!
We had a wonderful birthday dinner at Porterhouse! Our meals were delicious! The service was great! Thank you Kelly! We will definitely be back soon!
Our server was knowledgeable friendly and attentive. The food was excellent the atmosphere was pleasant we were able to visit with no loud noise very relaxing and enjoyable
I had the 18oz ribeye medium rare. The steak was indeed medium rare but the quality of the meat was horrible. More fat and grizzle than actual meat. I would expect more from a 50$ steak. I hardly eat half of it. Texas Roadhouse is much better for way less money
We had a few gift cards to use and we chose to go for our anniversary. We have been to Porterhouse probably ten times over the years and have always been pleased. This time, not so much. Maybe it is because it has lost a little of the special appeal for me. Our waitress was quite good - attentive and friendly. The food, a bit of a disappointment. I ordered the fish special, Parmesan crusted halibut. There was very little “crust”, the fish was mushy, the sauce very bland. Overall I was served a very beige looking meal, could have used a little garnish for color. The side of asparagus also very mushy. Overall not so good. My husband ordered the black and blue steak. His steak was delicious and cooked as ordered. His side of mashed potatoes were overly garlic tasting and pasty.
We sat in the bar area. The food was great. Unfortunately the service was not very good. Our waitress was not attentive and not very nice. She gave off the attitude that she didn't want to be working. Porterhouse is an upscale steakhouse and wait staff should be top notch.
The steak was delicious. Baked potatoes was omg so good. In general everything was delicious. Tou can tell it was prepared by love.
Had a lovely anniversary dinner. Cassie our server was amazing. Food was great, and a good value. My only criticism is the Caesar salad, is not exactly a traditional Caesar. But overall an excellent meal.
Sara was excellent! Wonderful. Attentive, not intrusive. Artichoke dip delicious as always, French onion soup also very good. Craft cocktails also good. My prime rib was extremely fatty and grizzly. Wouldn't have again. The other meals were just fine. Carrot cake the best! Over all a nice evening.
Excellent birthday celebration. Everything was perfect- the cocktails, the food and service was above our expectations!!

We love it at little Canada Porterhouse. The food is always perfectly prepared and service is excellent.
We were seated in the bar area and it was extremely loud. It was hard to carry on a conversation because of how loud it was. By the end of our meal we couldn't get out fast enough.
Great place for a special occasion. Pricing a bit on the higher side. Good food and had a very nice waitress. A nice surprise was the free mini cake for dessert, to help us celebrate our wedding anniversary.
We went to Porterhouse to celebrate our 49th anniversary. The food and service were marvelous. And to help us celebrate, our server surprised us with a free, tasty dessert! We had a wonderful evening.
The service was very good. The food was excellent, and the ambiance was quiet and allowed for a nice conversation. A bit pricey, I don't know if I would make this a regular stop, but definitely for a special occasion.
