This was my Birthday dinner & it couldn't have been better. Our waitstaff was so attentive & very personable! Our food was cooked to perfection, we had the lobster tails & prawns, delicious! I gave a 4 for ambiance & noise level just because the restaurant is dated but yet very comfortable. The seating was a little crowded so you could hear others conversations, but yet at 4 pm when they opened, the dining room was full. They brought birthday cake to end the meal, a nice touch! We will certainly go back.

We came with some neighbors who had never been and they both left saying Porterhouse was their new favorite place to go. My husband and I come here for all our special days and always no the food will be delicious
Went for my anniversary, the food was very good (I got the black and bleu ribeye), and they have a fantastic drink selection. The food came out very quick and our waitress was super nice and polite. I will be coming back
Service was outstanding. Food was great for 3 out of 4 people. On on the 1 meal the filet was average at best. The noise was also very loud. Dined here many times and had an outstanding experience. Unfortunately not this time

It seems like because we didn't order an alcoholic beverage our server was very inattentive .i had to ask what the specials were but i heard her telling other tables what they were. My husband ordered his steak med well and when it arrived it was very well done tough and dry . The server never returned to our table to ask us if everything was ok and so I explained to her it was uneatable. She offered to have it remade but by the time she returned I had finished my entree. The manager did remove it from our bill but we are very unhappy with the service. When we were seated I told our server we were celebrating our birthdays and it was like ok. After dinner I had to ask if they did anything for birthdays. We were at Porter House Lakeville in February and we loved it the service was awesome the food delicious and so we thought we'd try Little Canada we will not be back.

It seemed like our waitress Sara couldn't wait to get us out of there. She commented on the dinner rush starting as we were sitting down. She didn't ask if we wanted a cocktail before we ordered food. We ordered wine with our meal. She forgot to bring my husbands until he reminded her and she brought it halfway through his meal. She had to be reminded to bring mine as well and she brought it when we were done eating. We normally have after dinner drinks and that wasn't offered before she brought the check. It was my husbands birthday (Leap Day!) and it was mentioned three times but she forgot so she put his cake in a to go box. My steak was too raw for me to eat (she never once asked me how it was; we barely saw her) but I'm sure it will be good when I reheat it. Lobster and mashed potatoes were worth the trip though!

Excellent experience. The food was grand. The service by Julee was exemplary. And the classic ambience made me nostalgic. It was somewhat pricey some might think. Personally I think not insofar as we definitely got what we paid for-an excellent meal and experience

Had requested a table in the bar and had to wait 15 minutes until table was cleared and reset. Dinners were excellent except for 1 which had to be redone due to over grilling. Waitress gave excellent service!!! And the cocktails were very well crafted and delicious!!!

It is a little bit more than I am used to spending, but I was very happy with the whole experience. The food was excellent. The waitress was very nice. I had the filet mignon, and would get it again......I could cut it with a fork. My wife had the scallops, and they were great also.

Every year we celebrate at the Porterhouse my husband's anniversary of being cancer free. It's always recognized but this time was not. Don't know if the celebrating "special occasion" was not passed on or not seen by our server. Also, the food wasn't loved as has been in the past. Little dissapointed this year but will return. Could have been a fluke.
The good: The service at the Porterhouse was phenomenal. Asia was a great server and was pleasantly attentive to all our needs. The bartenders were super as well. The bad: The food was not up to par at all. I ordered a porterhouse medium-rare and it came to me as medium. Most of all, the new Parmesan-dill mashed potatoes were horrendous! Way too salty for sure. It was like we were eating spoonfuls of salt. We were so salted out that we both had a hard time going to bed that night since the meal was too salty and made use way super thirsty. My suggestion: Send the chefs to training or get new chefs that know how to cook a steak and won't over salt everything.
We didn't receive our food for an entire hour and a half after we were seated. The appetizers were pretty good although they were out of oysters after only been open for one hour, that was kind of a bummer. My steak was cold when I got it, and the lobster was overcooked, and the asparagus was horrible. Plus we got charged for another tables drinks. It was a comedy of errors really, but for the prices I sure expected better.

The Porter has always been our go to place for great food at a reasonable price. However last night some of my wife's lobster was not cooked, soft mushy transparent center of uncooked seafood. The cheese potatoes were the worst tasting potatoes we ever tasted, not edible. The ribeye steak was passible but missed the mark compared to the last ribeye I enjoyed at the Porterhouse . Our waitress was very good. I have always recommended the Porter House to friends and family. Disappointed.

I enjoyed my dine in experience at Porterhouse Thursday evening, the restaurant has a very lovely and classy ambiance. Food and entrees were served immediately and the mashed potatoes and filet mignon were delicious. Filet mignon was cooked perfectly and was very tender, however the mashed potatoes were my favorite part of the dinner- well seasoned and perfectly buttery! Host was very attentive and excellent- Thank you Issie. I would come here again just because of the service, they never disappoint. I am so happy to live merely 3 minutes away.

The food was absolutely delicious. Our steaks were cooked exactly how we ordered them, and our waitress was attentive, and such a nice person. She made our Anniversary dinner very special for us.
