Chapala Mexican Restaurant in Princeton

Great Mexican restaurant right on the main strip in downtown Princeton. Always sat quickly no matter how busy. Shrimp fajitas, queso, taco salad, and kids meals were excellent. Facility is a little older and some of the tables need some TLC. Otherwise, great spot to dine.

I love this restaurant. Food was delicious . Reasonable prices and outstanding service.
I will recommend you to ask for ISA who was our waitress for my sister's birthday, Isa was not only very professional but also very friendly and provided an outstanding customer service, she made of this celebration an unforgettable moment.

Great service, great food, great atmosphere. Some things we liked in particular, the queso cheese had a unique jalapeño flavor that was delicious, the salsa was fantastic, the spicy margaritas were excellent, and the food was great too.

The food is excellent! It is not the typical bland Minnesota approximation of Mexican. Instead it is flavor rich, nicely spiced, and well portioned. I've been here before and will keep going because it's really good!

Literally, the BEST steak fajitas I've had in probably 3 or 4 years of eating in various Mexican and/or Tex-Mex restaurants!!! It was all cooked and served perfectly, exactly as I ordered it, as was the rest of the meals at my table with co-workers. The cheese dip was absolutely on point, with the right amount of bite to it, we went through 2 baskets of chips, 1 bowl of salsa, and 1 of cheese dip. Great atmosphere, good music, and great attentive service. We went in for lunch, and they weren't very busy at all, but this place was excellent in every aspect for us!!! I definitely will be back as soon as I can...

It was a good dinner, standard Mexican cuisine for Minnesota.The one thing that rated higher was they had quite a few listed vegetarian options.

Omg. Why have we waited so long to try this place out. Food was to die for. Had the steak tip chimichangas. By far the best I've ever had. Also the Pina Colada Margarita is amazing. We will be back.

My first day on vacation with my trusty service dog. I came in the afternoon and was so glad they had lunch specials thru 2:30. Hot, delicious and great service!

The food is very good and has great portions. The service when well staffed is exceptional. This is a welcomed sit down restaurant to our charming small town. Five stars once they serve a molcajete dish. I would recommend any day
