If you're looking for a welcoming experience where the staff treat you as if you've been a regular for years, this is the place. The food was amazing, the atmosphere was homely, our server was friendly, and quick to help with all of our questions. I wish we were closer to the area or we would be regulars! It's unfortunate to hear they will be closing their doors, but I am thankful we were able to experience this restaurant. I wholly recommend you do too before they close their doors.

Even though this place is a little dated, it has some of the best food around. It's a shame it's closing though. I have to ask why? Sure, COVID can cause a fluctuation in a businesses economic well being. Inflation, that's going to happen regardless of what anyone says. This restaurant has been around for over 40+ years, how was it you delt with rising cost before? How was it you delt with less customers at times, and less money coming in? Somehow you delt with it and still your business survived. So I need to ask, what's so different this time compared to 20+ years ago minus the lock downs. Almost every employee at your restaurant was walking around with a huge weight on their shoulders. Almost like most if not all of them have very heavy hearts. There is ALWAYS a way to save a business from going under, and I know when I was there on Saturday. A lot of people showed up, what is it going to take for you, the owner of this restaurant that has been the corner stone of this great state. You know people talk about your restaurant in other states that have been there to your restaurant. Come on guys, you gotta try like you never tried before, you could do it 20+ years ago, you can still do it now.

Food wasn't all the good husband wanted to taste their brosted chicken. Local radio station mentioned it was one of the bestSorry.brass rail is way better.Very small place. People were packed like sardines. So that made in hard to monurver. Hard to hear your party talking. All i smelled was that old smell when walked in. Then deepfrying oil. Wasn't vented property. I would not go there again.

Loved it! Food was great! I had an inferno burger and the burgers were handmade. Everything was super fresh! Friendly environment and staff! Unfortunately found out due to the economy they will be closing 11/1/23 so I'm sad about that since I had just tried it! It's a family owned place and not very expensive.

My husband and I love this place. We drive an hour and a half just to eat there. So sad that they will be closing because of our governments. We've never been disappointed. Staff is also wonderful.

This place is closing, sadly. The food is priced fairly (possibly even a bit low) and the portions are generous. Additionally the salad bar has both hot and cold options and is all you can eat.

This is a small piece of America that needs to stay! The Family Style Steakhouse is a rare find these days.I travel half an hour from St. Cloud. Saddens my heart to hear they are closing. Wish we all could see the good times will return, but only if we hold on to what we need to show the next generation. Give them your business... And your appreciation!

We're really going to miss this place, so we'll try to make the 45 minute trip once a week until they close their doors. The food is great and so is the service!Kid-friendliness: We saw lots of families.

Very friendly server. The hot bar food wasn't the best. Need to have chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, chips and cheese and the hamburger/rice hotdish on there again.
