This 50s themed diner consistently delivers on excellent food and service. Your wallet will hardly notice the depletion of your cash reserves.
We actually ate her twice during a week we were in the area, once for dinner and once for breakfast. Dinner was a bit more reasonably priced then breakfast but both meals were delicious. Staff were friendly and accommodating. We would probably do dinner hear again but may look for a less expensive alternative for breakfast.
Great decor with music to match. BIG menu. Ample amounts of food; come hungry. A very comfortable place to eat and visit.
We took our grandchildren to Ze's in Prior Lake for lunch on March 26 because our neighbors said it was good. The Mac & Cheese was pretty bad. When our grandson wouldn'd eat it, I tasted it and understood why. It tasted horrible. The fish sandwich was pretty much just a fish patty rather than the cod filet I was expecting. On top of this, the service was slow and unfriendly. I realize we have been in a pandemic, but that is no excuse for poor service and bad food. Never again.
Stellar breakfast location!!! We loved the cute 50's diner vibe and it felt like the staff there loved it just as much. The servers always had a smile and chatted when they could, and it was amazing how quickly your coffee cup would be refilled or empty plates would be whisked off your table. I went with the Mixed Mess. The scrambled eggs were nice and fluffy and there was a great balance between the veg and meat. The eggs were nestled atop a golden bed of hashbrowns, and then topped off with a hollandaise sauce from the heavens. My husband had the King Kong Omelet and he loved it! The house-made rhubarb sauce was a really nice touch, as well. Can't wait to stop back in the next time we are in town!
We had the Gyro Omelet, King Kong Omelet, and the Oh My Gosh breakfast! It was amazing! The service staff was very friendly! A must stop if in the Prior Lake area!
The food was quite good. I watched the cook with his mask just above his upper lip not covering his nose. The pandemic was about at it's height. I pointed it out to the host. He talked with the cook. The cooks attitude was not good. That was MY food he was preparing.
Stopped for a family lunch and to try out the new diner. All six of really enjoyed our meals. I had the patty melt which I highly recommend. Hubby and daughter had BLT’s and they would highly recommend. The service was great. It is a fun, clean place. I can’t wait to go back.
Packed on a Saturday. It’s nice to have a place like this in prior lake. We ordered fried pickles, which were good, but definitely not enough for the price. Menu was large and offered breakfast all day. Prices were a bit higher than I’d like too pay, but not so expensive that we would t return. Overall not outstanding but worth another visit.
This is the most underrated restaurant in Prior Lake! I would write more, but I'm too busy EATING ☆☆☆♡♡♡♡♡ Food this good doesn't even need the fifties theme! Homemade jams jellies breads best to ingredients all fresh. Leave the casino come here

I had the Beef Stroganoff and my daughter had french toast. The place was incredibly busy however they did an extremely good job keeping up.
I had heard Ze's was going to open in Prior Lake about a month ago. I knew there was one in Eagan but had never been. Ze's has delicious food and a fun atmosphere. I ordered the Veggie Omelette with hashbrowns and toast. It was bursting with veggies and so, so delicious. My toast was some sort of uber soft bread--sourdough perhaps? My daughter had a strawberry shake and a pulled pork sandwich with fries, also delicious. Everything was excellent. We will definitely be repeat customers.
