Purple Car Coffeehouse & Cafe

Loved this stop on the way home from Duluth. Had two of the best warm sandwiches we’ve ever had! Tuscan chicken and jalapeño mango chicken. My iced chai was delicious. The atmosphere was fun and the service excellent. Will have to come back for the mini golf when it is warmer.

Just the cutest place! Stopped for coffee and also discovered they have some great ice cream! My breve was amazing! Coffee is smooth and no bitterness! A quick stop off the freeway and we’re on our way again. We’ll definitely be back!

We stayed at the hotel next door and were really happy we stopped. The iced Chai was delicious and so was the ham egg and cheese sandwich! The whole place had a nostalgic feel and was really clean. Nice bathrooms and all tables and chairs were spotless!

Wow, what an absolute gem of a place!

We stopped in for breakfast and got the steak and cheese sandwich and my wife got the ham egg and cheese w/ pickle sandwich.

The steak sandwich was one of, if not the, best breakfast sandwiches I have had in my entire life. My wife also LOVED her meal as well. We also got a pretzel, it was out of this world!

We will 100% be returning here every Sunday as it is a perfect date spot to get some delicious breakfast and play mini golf (which looked soooo fun, but to cold to play today w/ a baby) with the family!

This small little coffee shop is right off 35 exit for Proctor. It’s cute and small inside. I popped in for a to-go order but I could see sitting working in their space. I got a white chocolate mocha with oat and it was delicious! A simple coffee menu, but get flavor options- they offer oat and almond for alternative milks. I just had a blueberry muffin, but they look to have some yummy sandwiches worth trying another time!
It was a clean space and felt cozy.
There is also a little mini golf course tucked right outside, and they offer some great ice cream in the warmer months. Prices are fair! Definitely worth checking out!
