Tara's Wharf Inn & Ice Cream Shop

Cute shop with a lot of off-the-beaten-path flavors to choose from. It was also fun to walk around and explore the area after we finished our ice cream. Definitely worth a stop when in the area!

Ice cream cones are amazing! I've never had anything as good as 'Lemon Bar' cone💛. A few enjoyed the 'Licorice' flavor. 🖤 the lines were moving fairly well on a busy 'parade' day. Seating was cute for kids and adults! 🩷 Plants enhanced the lattice shade, and cute bird houses hidden around. 🩵

If you're reading this I assume you're in the area looking for ice cream. I assure you this is the place. The lady who I assume is Tara was out talking to customers, our child wanted Chocolate which wasn't an option so she convinced him to try something else, and then when they finished a bucket while we were there she tossed Chocolate in. The atmosphere was awesome and the ice cream was top notch, we even returned the next day to have it again and recommend 100%

Thatcher at the shop is great. He is kind, patient, and full of surprises for ice cream. Beautiful location right off the dock makes this the perfect spot for a post-kayak date. Cash only. Highly recommended!

Ice cream here is a requirement during our trips to town!

Tara's Wharf is one of my favorite places of all time. Her cottages are quaint, clean and have the best location in town. Tara is a perfect hostess and makes us feel at home every time we visit. What a peaceful and beautiful place to relax.

We have always loved bringing our kids to get ice cream @ Tara’s Wharf…….it’s a good way to break up fishing :). Great location to grab a cone and walk the streets of Ranier!

This was a fabulous stay. Tara is so personable and helpful. We stayed in the mahogany room second floor with tremendous lake views and sunset. Kitchen stocked to cook and really everything you need for a comfortable stay. Clean.

Nice stop for ice cream with our kids before going to the beach. We were looking for a local ice cream place and this little window shop was a nice little stop to eat and walk on the dock before we headed to the small beach a few minutes walk down Finstad Lane.
