Boondocks Bar & Grill + RV Campground

Went here last night was bingo night had 1 table left that wasn't reserved. Me and my husband sat on the patio,we both had the Boonie Burger it was delicious 😋 on our way there we saw a bear run across the street, neat to see.i recommend eating here. Friendly staff.

My wife and I were vacationing in the area and stopped in for dinner. It happened to be bingo night and everything was reserved except outside seating. Being from Arizona we didn't want to sit outside in the humidity and fight off any bugs(mosquitoes) for our food 🤣 . Wait staff was able to get us a couple of seats at the bar, the bartender was awesome got us our food and a couple of drinks. Great service, fast, and friendly. If we are ever in the area again we will 100% come back.

If you’re out near Lake Kab and looking for a meal, this is your stop! We tried all the local places nearby and don’t waste your time and money anywhere else, Boondocks is THE PLACE with cold beer, delicious food and the friendliest service. We enjoyed wings, burgers and pizza and nothing disappointed. Kim was an amazing server and we had the best time chatting with her during our meal.

Sorry to say that the only food we took a picture of was the wings, everything else we ate way too fast to stop and take a photo.

We got there at open on a Friday heading up to Canada. It was a great lunch stop with an outdoor patio we enjoyed! Their food was so good, and pull tabs were even better! Thanks so much to the staff there for accommodating the 8 of us! No one was there at the time, but you can tell it's a popular place. Highly recommend trying their food and outdoor space!

Mexican Saturday was phenomenal! No need to leave town to look for quality Mexican! Portions were generous and filling. The Queso so yummy. Of course the burgers and pizzas are always excellent!! Highly recommend checking it out!

I had the Ultimate Cubano with french fries. The sandwich was incredible, and I will definitely order it again.

highly recommend on your way thru

We had been out sightseeing all day and were on our way back to our camper. Tired and hungery, we were looking for a place to eat when we saw Boondocks Bar & Grill. It was early afternoon, only a couple of cars there. Isolated and loney looking but, never being one to want to judge a book by it's cover we decided to give it a go.

This was the best decision we had made in a while on restaurant choices.

We were greeted by a warm smile and a big "Welcome" by the man managing the bar as we entered. We took a seat at the bar and ordered our food. We were quickly served up the best BLT that I've had in a very long time. The thick bacon extended out at least two inches on each side. Thick slices of tomatoes and a bed of lettuce all sandwiched in big toasted bread made this BLT the best ever. My wife ordered a hamburger, and she reported that it was out of sight good. The french fries! Another great story. Simply exellent.

As we sat there and ate ,the locals started pouring in. The bartender knew them all, and he greeted each of them by name. By the time we left, the place was starting to fill up, and it was still early.

If we lived here, I would quickly adopt Boondocks Bar & Grill as one of my goto places when I was ready to dine out.

We stopped here with our kids on our way to cross the boarder and so glad we did! Derek was our bartender and server and did a phenomenal job! He was attentive, friendly and speedy. He handled our table of 9 with grace. The food was fantastic, oh soooo yummy. Will definitely have to stop again. Place was super clean too. Highly recommend this place!
