We chose the Red Wing Barrel House because it had the best Google reviews for Red Wing. The service was good. However the bar was really dark and the food was decent but nothing special.

Place has a cool vibe.
Took a long time to even be acknowledged after we sat down. But bartender was very kind.
Mule was delicious, but cant say that for the pork nachos.
Pork Nachos were less than par. Pile of chips in a basket with concession stand nacho cheese topped with the wettest, pale pork I have ever seen. Expected something of higher standards and better quality with the foot ratings being so high.
And for the 30 seconds it took to make them, w waited way too long to recieve them
One of my all time favorite bars- it’s so unique and everyone that works there has ALWAYS been so kind. I truly go here once a week because I love the atmosphere, music, drinks/food and Jamie, Mike, Kyle and Chris!

Nice place. We were in Red Wing for the fall art festival and stop in for a drink in the afternoon. Servi e was very good. We went back for dinner. The service was very good even though the place was busy. They had an okay beer selection. Drinks were all made from scratch. The food was just okay. Had the rubin. They had music on the night we were there. It got to be very loud. Too much for an old man 👴.

Stopped in after a morning of fishing and were pleasantly surprised to find this gem! It was mid afternoon and the only complaint was that we had to flag down a server for refills, which they happily addressed our requests. Food was hot and tasty. Prices were reasonable and we'll definitely come back if we're in the area again!

We found this spot by accident a few years back. Now everytime we are in Red Wing, Barrel House is a must stop for us. Bartenders are so friendly and welcoming, they are very attentive to each person that comes in. Fun drink options, great food choices and they will recommend favorites. I strongly suggest you check out this gem, one of my favorite Red Wing stops! Thank you for the hospitality, Barrel House!

This place was like a little secret hideaway. Very dark (minimal lighting) but very unique. The belartender/waitress/cook was a very nice and sweet.
We had The Cuban to eat and I say for bar food absolutely delish! 😋
Also they have the cutest little barrel cups and we were able to buy 2 of them to take home.
Loved everything about this place.
Will return if in the area.

I can't even express how wonderful the pizza is! So so soooo good! We got thin crust and every inch of it was as crisp as could be. I have never in my life eaten 4 slices of pizza but I couldn't stop. Our server was amazing! I believe his name was Kyle. Thank you for the great service and hints on which roads we needed to take (on motorcycle). Do yourself a favor and eat here!

Oldest bar in the state. Very local with a laid bar vibe. Food was great and the beers were cold. Jamie the bartender was very cool.
