Claims oldest bar in Minnesota. I beg to differ🤣 . The owner was awesome and we had a lot of fun with friendly banter. Drinks were good and the atmosphere was alright. A little dark, but definitely cool.
We chose the Red Wing Barrel House because it had the best Google reviews for Red Wing. The service was good. However the bar was really dark and the food was decent but nothing special.
Place has a cool vibe.
Took a long time to even be acknowledged after we sat down. But bartender was very kind.
Mule was delicious, but cant say that for the pork nachos.
Pork Nachos were less than par. Pile of chips in a basket with concession stand nacho cheese topped with the wettest, pale pork I have ever seen. Expected something of higher standards and better quality with the foot ratings being so high.
