Bayside is a great stop through Red Wing with a great view outside. Had some good food, had the steakhouse wrap and enjoyed some cheese curds as well. Service was good and would come back when down there.

Fun place to stop at for dinner. The server was great. I ordered the fish and got the extra filet for a little extra. Was very good portion size, so we'll worth it. I was think8ng the portion would be small which is why I got the 2nd filet. I'm very happy with everything.

2 meals and 1 pop Tator tots were quite brown and greasey. French fries were good. But no salt added and no salt or ketchup in bag for potatoes Sandwich was blah no seasoning with mushy tomatoes. Would not return
Food is good! Service is okay, we went later in the evening and sat on the patio. Staff seemed eager for us to wrap up our visit even though they were still open for a little over an hour (I was visiting a friend I haven't seen in a couple years.) they even turned off the patio lights on us as we were eating our food. We were asked while we were still eating if we wanted a to go box. I asked if they needed us off the patio for some reason but they said it's open as long as they're open. Didn't feel very friendly. We cut our time there short and went somewhere else to continue our visit.

Unable to rate the food as we never got it. Waited 45 minutes and didnāt even get water. Ordered drinksā¦ never saw āem. I understand that they were short staffed and it was busy but that message was conveyed by a waitress basically having a meltdown that a table left without ordering saying she canāt help it as she is moving as fast as she can and sheās the fastest one there despite her being the oldest! A simple āIām sorry. We are short staffed. There may be a bit of a waitā would have been well received and understood. Tables that ordered after us received their drinks and our āfastā waitress was āfastā gone at that point. Also when I asked her recommendation on their āfamousā martinis since I donāt usually drink martinis, she said āthen donāt order one..ā Iām sure Iāll get a snappy reply back from the owner since that seems to be the theme but just wanted to share my experience

Bayside Saloon has a great atmosphere, and great food for the price. I went with my significant other for dinner and we were both left impressed. The house made soup was by far some of the best local soup I can find! I can't remember a time where I've had such a good soup - this dish alone was worth every dollar. For dinner, we both had a ribeye steak, one 12 ounce and the other sixteen. The twelve ounce was cooked to a perfect medium rare but the sixteen was a little over cooked, more like medium well. However, the flavor was still plenty in shape and was worth every bite. This place may be a bar and grill, but they went over the top and NAILED the grill portion! Would I visit this place again? Yes. Would I recommend this place to a friend? Yes.
Dietary restrictions: Plenty of gluten-free substitutions.
