I ordered the “Loaded Tot Mac” which was delicious! The service was fantastic, and everyone I was with enjoyed their meals. We will definitely be coming back here next time we’re in Red Wing!

This was the first time visit for my friends and myself. We picked it based on Google reviews and its proximity to the Cannon Valley trailhead. Proved to be a great place for a post ride lunch. There were five of us in the party. One chose pizza which he described as excellent. The rest of us chose from among the great many variations on Mac cheese. These are assembled while your watch behind a a counter somewhat reminiscent of a subway sandwich shop. Then off to the oven. Servings were uniformly large and reasonably priced. The medium pizza proved to be sufficiently large for two, possibly three people. Three of the four mac and cheese orders in my party left food in the oven so to speak. (The signature mac and cheese variations are served in single serving size cast iron, Dutch ovens, which is not only unique, but serves to keep the contents warm.) I had ridden more miles than the rest, and I was perfectly happy to consume all of my brisket and barbecue mac cheese entree. Water and soft drinks for beverages. Alas, no beer, which would go great with either the pizza or the Mac cheese. I'll go back again the next time I'm in Red Wing.

Very cool place, the BBQ Mac is exactly what it says, I expected mac and cheese as the base but it was just noodles with the BBQ sauce and what not. Not bad but not amazing

The service was amazing. This was our first time there, we were greeted, we were explained how it worked, offered suggestions and we were treated kindly.The gentleman that rang us up, was kind and thorough, he let us know all of our options and repeated our order. I got the Buffalo Chicken Mac and my daughter got the Loaded Tot Mac. They were large helpings…. Enough for leftovers…. And both were packed with flavor. It was definitely more than we expected in a good way.
I appreciate good people and great food, thank you to the two that were working, we will be back.

Came in with a group, to get some food because the reviews looked great. But when we came in, the guy forgot to make one of our Mac bowls then gave it to us cold. The Labor Day special is buy any 2 mac bowls and get a free appetizer and 2 cans of soda. We forgot about the special and asked the owner about it and he stated since they didn’t ring it up as a special we couldn’t get it which is understandable as it’s no longer a combo. The main reason for this review though is we were chatting and having a laugh and the owner proceeds to come up to our table extremely hostile saying “what’s so funny? If you have a problem come talk to the owner like a man instead of just laughing at us!” All of us were baffled and just looked at each other. He then broke the silence by repeating “whats so funny?!” So I spoke up but he just turned around, didn’t say anything, and walked behind the counter. There was also a lady working in there, she was very kind and extremely helpful! When we informed her of the missing bowl she had the guy hop on it immediately and she walked us through her personal recommendations for ordering!

Delicious plant based options. Everything is made fresh so it comes out piping hot. The staff were really nice and seemed to be quite knowledgeable about the menu. They use cavatappi noodles which is my favorite noodle and their mac is very saucy. Would recommend everyone try at least once!

Seen the Mac shack online and thought it looked small. I walked in and it was a whole different atmosphere. The owner at the counter was very awesome and informative about all the menu options and ingredients could be changed or withheld. The owner said take your time and was patient The owner was very friendly as well and attenive with asking how our meal was and small conversation. I had the loaded tator tot bowl and I couldn't finish it. It was very hot and very good. Awesome place for dinner being in Red Wing. Would be back for another choice of meals next time we visit Red Wing. Great job guys.

ABSOLUTELY THE BEST SHACK IN TOWN!!! Went here for friends 21st. Food is INCREDIBLE literally the best pizza any kind of pizza and the best Mac any kind literally. The staff is SO PERSONABLE. so sweet so genuine and such a fun time! Thank you so much Mac Shack!
