Death is one of those things you can’t avoid. But when it’s present, you can always count on Perkins to be there when you need it most. Most of us were disgruntled with the location, while others arrived more than 45 mins late—Whatever your situation is…Perkins was there to seat us. I love everyone in this photo. Hoping our next get together is grounded in a more positive setting. Patrick Orr, wish you were here with us today to laugh at ourselves together. You’ll always be remembered in this crew.

OMGosh!! We went to Perkins on the last day of our trip in Minnesota. Had I known the quality of the food at Perkins I would have gone there more often while I was on vacation. I went with the burger, fries and pie $10 deal. It was fantastic to say the least!! Our waitress was amazing. The guy at the pie counter was very informative!! I just had the best experience at this restaurant...

The food was surprisingly excellent, we ordered a lunch deal which came with chicken sandwich, a salad and a banana pie. The restaurant was cleaned and had plenty of room. The service was outstanding, we were very lucky to have such friendly hostess. Very helpful in helping us with ordering, and gave us the area information since we just passed by travelers. Keep up the great work and help people with your friendliness

I respect all people, especially women. I try to treat everyone the way I would want to be treated.

The other day, when I walked into the men’s bathroom, I saw a handwritten sign that said, “Please aim straight.” It looked like it was written by one of the workers. I understand the frustration behind it — they have to clean those restrooms, and that’s not an easy or pleasant job. Honestly, I’m not mad about it. I get where they’re coming from.

That said, I think the message could have been worded a little differently — maybe in a way that still gets the point across without sounding too rude. You don’t usually see something like that in a restaurant bathroom, but again, I do understand why they put it there.

It just made me think — it’s not fair that some people act like they can do whatever they want and leave a mess for others to clean up. Just because it’s someone’s job doesn’t mean they should be treated like that. Everyone should clean up after themselves when they can.

Also, just to mention — my birthday was on July 11th, and it fell on a Wednesday this year. The waitress we had was great — very nice and respectful. It made the experience better, and I appreciate that.
