Good, and even a little spicy! I enjoyed the Quesadilla Fajita (subbing rice and refried beans for the salad) and guacamole. We had excellent service, and the outdoor patio along the parking lot was decently nice in the early evening.
Good vegetarian options!
Overall, excellent experience and a great reward for a taxing hike at Frontenac nearby.

We've been coming here for years. Alway, great service, food and drinks. Something must have been off the last time we came to eat. Very slow service to take orders. Food wasn't as flavorful. No spice as it usually has. We received our food and asked for silverware. Didn't come, so we found our own.
We will be back. I hope it's back to normal!!

Two cockroachs crawled around my booth along with flies and ants. Would not recommend if you don't like bugs

Went here with the kids and wife for lunch. Server was great!!! Food was excellent! Highlights were the enchiladas supreme, street tacos and fajitas. We sat outside as we had the dog with us.

Different name on menus than outside the building but whatever it’s called I was in Mexican food heaven! To start, the chips were nice and crispy crunchy, salsa had season appropriate fresh ingredients and was delicious by itself though also nice assortment of hot sauces for extra Scoville units :-). Nice tasting and generous house margarita. I had the Arroz Texana and it was delicious; just the right amount of queso sauce, perfectly grilled beef, shrimp, and chicken. Despite this being a lunch menu item it was easily 3 meals with the leftovers. My husband had beef chimichanga and also delicious. I will definitely be back!!

I'm skeptical of Mexican food in the Midwest, as it tends to cater to bland palates, but I was delighted to find that Rancho Loco is a lot like the restaurants I grew up with in California. The menu is huge and offers a wide variety of food, and what we had actually included some spices and nuance. A number of different hot sauces sat on the table, too, to add a little heat if so desired. Portions were huge.
The restaurant had a nice ambience, too. The tables were nicely spaced out, the decor on-theme without being over-the-top. A soccer game was on the TV over us, which my husband enjoyed watching. Service was great the whole time. We were never kept waiting long, and food came out right as we finished up our chip bowl.
I'd definitely come here again!
