Redwing Confectionery hits you with its goodness the second you step in the store. The store looks great and smells amazing. They sell a tempting selection of treats, but I was there for the latte. The drinks was prepared quickly and was very good. The barista was quick and friendly. Another employee was a touch curt to be honest, but no harm done. Bottom line, should I ever find myself in Redwing again I’ll drop by for an another Latte and perhaps, diet permitting, some chocolate.
Friendly staff, delicious chocolate.
Stopped for a maple nut ice cream waffle cone. It hit the spot. Friendly service. Tasted great. Don’t believe there was seating inside or outside. But walked around outside on a beautiful day. Great ice cream spot in Red Wing. Lots of alternative treats but stuck with ice cream.
Amazing little shop in a very cool part of Minnesota
We bought some chocolates here last weekend. This review is not about quality or selection of the goods, those were fine. However, when I paid with my debit card, the actual charge on my bank account was $0.66 more than the receipt showed. Nowhere on the receipt it said anything about any additional charges or fees for using a card versus cash, it was just total for the chocolates plus tax. So, why was I charged extra? 🤔 Anyway, I wasn't going to call them about 66 cents difference, but it is dishonest practice.
Wow. The truffles were honestly the best ones I have had in over 20 years. I loved the variety and the product was high quality. I cannot wait to go back and buy more.
Wide variety of beautifully presented chocolates and candies. Purchased the milk chocolate covered pretzels which were delicious. One star off for service— the young employees were pleasant enough but should say hello and thank you.
Pricey but delicious! Great spot for gifts but expect to pay for what you get. It quality not quantity.
Tasty hand made chocolates. Iced cream is perfect on a warm day with several tables looking in the chocolate kitchen.
Very great experience, first time in there and two young workers Cienna and Allie helped me pick out a variety of items. Very worth, will come back and highly recommend.

They have great ice cream and speciality chocolates. It is slight expensive however taste is great. Staff is very friendly.
Street parking is available and it closes by 6PM.
Beyond Belief, the friendly personnel, customers helping with directions to the pedestrian bridge to Wisconsin- and the delicious Lemon Cheesecake/Raspberry Sherbet Waffle Cone I enjoyed immensely before embarking on a most exciting Photographic Safari in Red Wing, Minnesota - Where Eagles befriend and tarry with tourists, guiding us from Depot to River Bluffs, dawn to dusk. Delightful, must return!
The only place for hard ice cream in Red Wing. No toppings. Be warned.
Cute shop with a lot of unique candy items. It's a bit pricey, but what isn't today. Ice cream was good, but Nelson cheese factory ice cream is better.
We’re visiting Red Wing & this was our first time to the ice cream shop. Understand when reading this I am way to please. Doesn’t take much & I would much prefer to leave a positive review than negative, but I’m hoping this will be seen by management. It’s a pretty store. Things were nicely arranged & displayed. Unfortunately , we would never go back in there. The older gal with the short hair & round dark glasses was extremely rude. No hello, or anything except a glare. Walked into the back area where candy/chocolates are made. Came back out & asked what we needed. So she got my ice cream. Grabbed a cone with her bare unwashed hands & scooped my ice cream, as her hair brushed into it each time. Not a pleasant experience at all. We’re so disappointed. .
