“Great unassuming place. Great food. Smiling faces. Cold beer. Dont expect a 5 star culinary experience but more a stepped up hard to find Jamaican food that fits the palate washed with your favorite beer. Great views of the Mighty Mississippi. Brad the owner is a good dude that is always welcoming. Btw the chx strips dipped in the bbq first bite then jerk sauce and honey mayo, second bite....you'll thank me later!😁 Always recommend.“

“The food here in general is solid, and its hard to go wrong with any of the choices on the menu.
My favorites:
The Cuban nachos appetizer alone make me crave this place as they're the best nachos I've ever had and I hope they stay on the menu long-term.
As an entree, I usually go with the filet mignon with garlic butter, the red snapper fish or the chicken Parmesan. I'd recommend any/all of those.
The au gratin potatoes are also great to have as a side.
For a dessert, I strongly recommend their new tiramisu, it's a good enough size to share but you may not want to once you eat it.
My not-so-favorites:
The lamb dishes I've tried here have been a bit tough.
The broccoli is cooked, but still a bit hard.
The service:
All servers here are great, friendly and helpful. Jordan has been great at describing how the different dishes are and providing recommendations, but all of the servers are happy to help you decide what to choose if you're torn between a couple of options. The staff here are awesome.
The overall atmosphere here is nice, not super quiet but not loud at all. No complaints there.“
