I've heard about this place for a couple years now, but being over an hour from my house, it took me a while to get over there to try it. Having friends and customers knowing I really enjoy finding new locally owned gems with good food, I kept hearing about it. So I scheduled it and we made the trip. I'm glad we did. It's easy to find right off of highway 14. We got a chance to chat with the owner before it got busy. He's a nice guy with a good sense of humor. The service was friendly and attentive. Our waitress Jessi did a great job. The steak and shrimp was tasty! I was happy that the shrimp was only lightly breaded with great flavor. Some restaurants put a heavy thick breading on that takes a way of the flavor of the shrimp. The loaded cheesy hash was good. The sweet potato fries looked really good and I plan on trying them another time. If you follow my reviews and enjoy traveling to Bergen Bar and Grill, you should come check out this place also!

First off I love eating and going out to small town gems. I was recommended this place by a local I met so my girlfriend and I were ready to try it out for a sat evening bite. Service subpar, drinks were not great either. I ordered the mushroom/Swiss, she had the patty melt. BOTH came back raw and cold in the middle. Maybe a bad cook, maybe who knows. She and I both ate half and gave the rest to my dog. I would have sent it back but it was near closing time and didn't want to wait 15 Mins for other burgers.

The food was bland. The chicken fingers were dry, burnt and horrible tasting. The onion rings were shoestring-like and mostly batter. The waitress was sullen, barked at questions and all around rude.

Stopped in a little SW MN family road trip and so glad we did. Staff was super welcoming and food was amazing. Seriously really great food. Jack burger and chicken sandwiches all around. Go for the fries as your side, double battered and super crispy!

Mother says you people NEED to start opening for at least 2 hours on Wednesdays . She says she wants this to start next week.. Mother is finished her meeting at the center by 4 pm so ot makes sense for us to eat an early supper at your little establishment then not other days .
