don't eat breakfast here. I know it's contrary to what you would expect from a small town cafe but it's really not good. very little is homemade. everything tastes processed and store bought. even the eggs aren't real. sausage gravy is terrible. I hope it's store bought for how bad it is. biscuits are store bought just terrible. this place needs to do better.
It smells, the wommens bathroom is moldy, flies everywhere (makes me think there are maggots somewhere), and food was okay, but the place was very dirty, overall bad experience.
Excellent service. Polite and friendly staff. Breakfast buffet was fabulous. Family atmosphere. Met with family that was visiting from out of state. Will definitely visit again.
Never again . A 30 minute wait turned into 55 minutes and than raw food and forgotten eggs. Never again
Food is good. Decor is neat. Only compliant I have was the service was a little slow.
Very cute restaurant. Felt bad for the young cook. She was trying. My friend ordered the biscuits and gravy. Biscuits were so hard you couldn't cut them with a knife. The buffet ran low on a lot off food. We had to ask for it to get stocked. Tried it once, probably wouldn't recommend it.
It took a long time for us to get our food today.

We enjoyed eating on the patio with our dog. Hubby loved the biscuits and gravy while I found the wild rice soup to be perfect. Our timing was poor - a late lunch - and some items at the hot bar weren’t super fresh.

Friday Night Fish, Shrimp and Meatballs, I have eaten here many times over the last many years. Tonights meal was by far the worst meal I have ever eaten here.
Burnt Fish, Burnt Shrimp and 2 Flies in my Ham and Bean soup.
Very Disappointed.

So glad to have stumbled upon this place by chance. We saw biscuits and gravy advertised on the sign 4.95 ALLDAY. Service was amazing and although they were out of biscuits I was able to have texas toast as a substitute. I added a egg and was given 2. The meal was delicious and everything together was so cheap I questioned not being charged for something. My wife asked about some soft serve ice cream and they said just to go get some on the house. Its been along time since a little cafe/restaurant has captured my heart like this hidden gem! I will be stopping through everytime I pass by. Thanks for the amazing experience.

Great food and service
I love this small family oriented restaurant. The Old Creamery cafe is very nicely decorated with antiques and comfortable seating. If ever driving through Rice, Mn. Stop in for a bite to eat the food is awesome with great portions. I'd rate this place an easy 5 star small town restaurant.
Cozy little cafe. Attentive staff. Best burger I've had in a while. It was seasoned perfectly, juicy and bigger than I thought. No squished bun here like some fast food places.

Just off the main highway, stopped here on the way north. They offered a lunch buffet that looked good. When the cook heard me say that there was only 1 piece of fried fish left, he made more! Thank you!
