Lots of people there, lots of deer hunters as deer hunting season just started. waitress just started day before, did not ask me how I wanted my eggs. So they were served over easy.

Came here for a lunch with my husband. I'm normally a very picky eater but these chicken strips and fries were the best I ever had. My husband had ordered a patty melt and fries. Very cozy place and good food.

Worst service I’ve ever had there. We ordered a food waited over an hour and a half still did not receive her food found out the cook was too busy flirting with the waitress. I asked him if he was gonna do his job and he had a tantrum about it. We had drinks served with dirt in our cops, black stuff, floating in our orange juice and pop will never go back to this restaurant again ended up, leaving in an hour and a half into our sit and wait without even getting served their food. We had five people only two people that were actually able to eat

Update the last few years the quality of food for the breakfast buffet has really gone down while the prices have gone up. It's not bad, but not nearly as good as it once was.

don't eat breakfast here. I know it's contrary to what you would expect from a small town cafe but it's really not good. very little is homemade. everything tastes processed and store bought. even the eggs aren't real. sausage gravy is terrible. I hope it's store bought for how bad it is. biscuits are store bought just terrible. this place needs to do better.

We are for the first time. The buffet was good. I wish the eggs didn't have hunks of onion in it, but besides that I like everything else. And Carmel rolls for dessert was delicious! The price was good, atmosphere was very country/very comfortable. The waitress was very sweet.

Stopped in on a Friday evening. Ordered the buffet because I was in a hurry. The canned green beans were mush, the boxed mashed potatoes had no gravy, fish and shrimp had too much batter, the only thing I found edible where the meatballs and maybe my standards are too high and proper but the spoon they had for the meatballs, only one could be taken out at a time. I skipped the salad bar because at the moment there was no lettuce and maybe it's the inflation during this administration, but $17.00 for a small selection in a small town restaurant is unacceptable. It might be the only thing that keeps them in business, the one time traffic off of the freeway but this is not a cozy place to eat a home cooked meal at. It is an older building and it shows, the carpet looks like it hasn't been shampooed in 25 years it gave the place an overall dirty gross vibe. 5 years ago the food was good and the atmosphere could be overlooked but now neither are within reason. This used to be the place I stopped at on the way to the lake house but no more.

Perfectly cooked crispy bacon, huge fluffy pancake and an egg exactly how I like it! So good, by the time I thought of taking a photo, it was almost gone! Wait staff friendly and cute antique decor. Well stop by again when in the area!
Waste of money. Breakfast buffet was pathetic. Sunday morning arrived at 9:00. Containers on the buffet table were empty and not refilled. We also requested a baby high chair. It was so sticky we we asked for a cloth to wipe it never received one. What little food was there was tasteless. So expensive and you couldn't even get enough food to fill your plate.

I had passed this place a thousand times so I finally stopped in. We got the breakfast buffet. Quantity over quality for sure. The gravy was charred and inedible. The $3 coffee tasted like it had been sitting for hours - Very Bitter and burnt. Will not be returning. My curiosity has been cured.
