We enjoyed eating on the patio with our dog. Hubby loved the biscuits and gravy while I found the wild rice soup to be perfect. Our timing was poor - a late lunch - and some items at the hot bar weren’t super fresh.

Friday Night Fish, Shrimp and Meatballs, I have eaten here many times over the last many years. Tonights meal was by far the worst meal I have ever eaten here. Burnt Fish, Burnt Shrimp and 2 Flies in my Ham and Bean soup. Very Disappointed.

So glad to have stumbled upon this place by chance. We saw biscuits and gravy advertised on the sign 4.95 ALLDAY. Service was amazing and although they were out of biscuits I was able to have texas toast as a substitute. I added a egg and was given 2. The meal was delicious and everything together was so cheap I questioned not being charged for something. My wife asked about some soft serve ice cream and they said just to go get some on the house. Its been along time since a little cafe/restaurant has captured my heart like this hidden gem! I will be stopping through everytime I pass by. Thanks for the amazing experience.

I love this small family oriented restaurant. The Old Creamery cafe is very nicely decorated with antiques and comfortable seating. If ever driving through Rice, Mn. Stop in for a bite to eat the food is awesome with great portions. I'd rate this place an easy 5 star small town restaurant.

Just off the main highway, stopped here on the way north. They offered a lunch buffet that looked good. When the cook heard me say that there was only 1 piece of fried fish left, he made more! Thank you!

Great service! We had the buffet and everything was hot and the Carmel rolls were delicious!! The scrambled eggs were ok but chicken fried steak was good!
My family and I ate here for what was suppose to be breakfast but the cook was new so ended being over a 45 minute wait… then when the food came out it was very well done. The mozz sticks were hollow because all of the cheese melted out and my chicken strips were dark brown and crunchy. I ordered 2 breakfast sandwiches and only got one and when I asked about the second one it sounded like it was almost done but then 15 minutes later, it still wasn’t. Not sure if it was just because the cook was new or what.

We just left this place and the horrible service is why I’m writing this. We ordered drinks and ended up choosing not to eat here because the the service was so bad. Two young female waitresses were working and making jokes about us as if we couldn’t hear them. I’m not surprised this place had no customers. The decor is very cute but the service was terrible, I will be sure to tell people to skip this one.

Today I brought my mother and her sister out for Lunch who both have dementia, let me tell you the waitress we had and the cook were excellent, they were kind and patient and even answered the same question more than once without any hesitation. The food was excellent, I definitely will be back. Thanks again for a very enjoyable meal.
