It has been quite a while since I've been here. I made a point of having us stop by on Sunday. It was hot, and I wanted ice cream. I also didn't want to go to DQ for soft serve.We got a cup of ice cream. He got Cappuccino Break, and I got strawberry. Strawberry is my favorite ice cream flavor. If you like coffee and chocolate, then you'd enjoy the CB. My friend really enjoyed it. It was too chocolatey for me. I do not like chocolate, so it stands to reason why I'd not love it. The strawberry ice cream made me think of when we'd make ice cream at home when we were children. It was hard work, yet always worth it. There was a great balance of strawberries to creaminess. The service was quick and friendly, and I'm glad that we stopped by. Will probably go again on Saturday, as we'll be back in the area. My son loved their Superman ice cream, so we'll see if he still wants to eat is all these years later.If you're in the area, stop by. You, your taste buds, and your tummy, will be glad that you did.

The owner has never really been friendly or appreciative of anyone’s business when I’ve been in, which is annoying at best. When in the service industry, I personally don’t like when folx act like they’re doing me a favor by simply being there. If you don’t like what you’re doing, find a different job! Having worked in the service industry, I know how difficult it can be. But when you own a business and clearly don’t like people, then sell it.Today I went online to see what time they would be open since their hours have not been regular yet and it said 1pm. I arrived around 1:15pm with my daughter and it was not open. We sat down at the table outside and figured we would wait. Shortly thereafter, a woman and her 3-year old granddaughter arrived. I told her they were not yet opened. They peeked inside and she pointed out that there was someone in there. I looked in, figuring the owner would be behind the counter getting things ready. Instead, he was sitting in a booth on his phone. The woman and child left within a couple of minutes and we continued to sit, figuring that with four people outside his door, it might prompt him to open, but it didn’t. We sat a few more minutes and then left.The season is just starting. Is this the kind of service we can expect this summer??
