It’s OK. Better than Dave’s hot chicken.

The food was awful. The chicken tenders were ridiculously big — I might as well have eaten a full chicken breast. Chewing them felt like eating a mouthful of mush; the breading kept falling apart. That’s my honest take on the food. The tenders just need to be reduced in size — that’s my only complaint

Ok so the fries were not so good, BUT the chicken was very good. They have the option to have heat with several levels for people who like it hot. I got the no heat on my chicken and it was the best chicken I have had. The portions were huge, and the chicken was tender and moist. I use to think Cane's was my favorite chicken but I think they this place now is even better! And I really liked the owner/manager who helped us, good job to you.

The chicken was great! Coop was a level of spicy that stuck around, but was still tasty. Growlin’ on the other hand was almost too much to enjoy. The strips a huge and the basket is more than plenty.

Generally a huge fan, but my 9/09 order had fries very different from what I’m used to 😭

Normally, Nashville Coop’s fries are these lovely, crispy battered fries, but the recent switch to a standard shoestring is a massive downgrade to a normally stellar meal. Don’t get me wrong, mini coop chicken is still my go-to and I’m still a fan of the amazing service here, but I might switch to the waffles as a side to avoid the fry disappointment again.

The tenders were extremely that, tender! The seasoning was delicious, though the way they apply it doesn't have a great presentation. The fries were not real fresh, but they were okay. The Texas toast was good. Decent value. We will be back!

Best hot chicken strips I have ever had!! Spicy, tender, crispy breading…phenomenal. The dipping sauce was perfect! Fast and friendly service. Love their sign outside welcoming all. I will 100% be back.

I’m actually a little upset. They changed their fries and the new ones are terrible. I used to recommend people to Nashville Coop but with the new changes I’m not sure I will anymore

Tried this place on 9/1/2025.
First impression was bad. Music was blasting overly loud. Not sure how you'd have a conversation with anyone in there. This leads me to my next problem, the person ringing me up. The guy mumbled, and it was clear English wasn't his first language. I don't hold that against him. It wouldn't have been a problem is the blasting speaker wasn't just a few steps beside him. I ordered the chicken basket, was unclear if fries came with it. I asked but.. well.. With the language barrier and overly loud slim Shady song, it was even more unclear. Figured I'd just wait to see what came to me. I guess drink isn't part of the combo. Annoying, but the drink is under $2 which is hard to find these days, so not a big deal. Hell, you go to Perkins and pay over $3, and you have to pull the server's teeth to even get a refill.

I walked to a booth which was dirty, so I moved to the next.. which was also dirty... then looked left, also dirty with seasoning smears. By the 6th table, I found a clean one. I'd like to point out that besides me, there was one other person eating in there. This is just unacceptable, period. You aren't busy at all, get out there and wash the tables. I worked the Pizza Hut that use to be in the Target in Edina. We could be insanely busy and found time to clean the tables. Hell, managers would even do it if everyone else was busy.

I got my food, first impression was not great. When I see THAT much seasoning on food. It's clear we are expecting the seasoning to carry the food. Prop's to them, the chicken was served hot. So, I started with my clearly sat under the heat lamp for 1hr barely warm fires. Still edible, I guess. I spent over $16 for this, might as well eat it. I got whatever they were calling Mild for seasoning. I actually was a little surprised that even though the seasoning looked overwhelming, I didn't choke on it. Was kinda expecting it to be likely taking a shot of cinnamon and coughing it out. That was not the case, and I ate all three strips. They were decent sized strips, no complaint there, and warm still when I got to them. I didn't like what dipping sauce I was given. Not sure if I had a choice, wasn't asked. Went for ketchup since that was the only other option in the lobby. The packets were smaller than my pinky finger. You'd need 3 for one strip. Side note: if you are going to serve finger food, can we get some lid and straw dispensers or at least covered straws. All I can think about are all the people who don't wash their hands, grabbing the very open straws.

In conclusion, if you are looking for meh food with meh effort or just something different from burger and fries. This place is ok. Had worse, but also had way better. I feel it's overpriced, but the price point would bother me less with better service and a clean dinning area.

I will say this, it's way better than the place that was before them.

Stopped in for Sunday lunch as we were in the area and frequent St. Paul and Stadium Village locations. Fries were cold, rock solid, oily. Chicken was okay, but breading was not properly stuck to the chicken so 1 star. The inside was clean and quiet, so 1 star for that. Not a great first experience, will not return if the opportunity arises.
