Get the enchiladas. I'd never had Salvadoran food before, but this place is super close and on the way home. Prices were reasonable. Take-out service was friendly. Kid and I got tamales, pupusas, and enchiladas. The tamal was large and decent with one large chunk of chicken. The pupusas were tasty. The food was awesome! It's so hard to find authentic food without going downtown and we were pleasantly surprised. It's a tiny little place and I think it was the owner who took care of us and also made the food. We will DEFINITELY be back again.
I stopped by recently with some friends to try it out, and it's definitely worth a visit. I ordered two bean and cheese papusas and yucca fries with chicharrón. I'm always excited to see chicharrón on the menu and the portion with the yucca fries is really generous and flavorful. The papusas I had were great and I'd definitely get them again. They also have horchata, which I absolutely intend to get the next time I'm through.
