Short or Tall Eatery & Drink Hall

We went to support Broken Clock’s Lil Haze (since we’re members there and the beer just won a year long tap line here!). Food was really good (truffle fries so good!) and the staff was super friendly and attentive, even though the place was packed. We went around 6pm on a Friday. Short wait (maybe 5-10 min). So many good food and beer options. The ONLY downfall is that it’s not super family friendly if you have littles. We have a 1 and 4 year old. No high chairs and no changing table in the bathrooms (not sure of men’s, we only used the women’s but men’s bathrooms usually lack them anyway). We have a portable high chair so no big deal there but it would’ve been nice to have those things available if you have young kids. Easy additions to make and we’d come back again regardless because it was a great experience otherwise.

Burger was dry and bun was stale. Nashville chicken sandwich, the chicken was actually cold. One basket of truffle fries were cold. The only thing that was good was the other basket of truffle fries that we ended up sharing since the other one was cold. This was our first time here. Probably won’t be back.

Great selection of beers! My wife and I really enjoyed our flights. It was super cool to get some older Darkness releases in the flight!

I’m craving their midnight burger! I can’t stop telling people about it, it was just so good! The juicy Lucy was also very good! I am not a beer drinker but the atmosphere is so unique in there. I also love that it’s right next to the movie theater so it’s a great dinner/movie date night. My one caution is that there’s not a lot of seating, so they added a tented extension with space heaters. I admire the effort and on a warmer winter night it might work, but I was freezing and couldn’t wait to get out of there to warm up! It was 15 degrees outside and the space heaters just couldn’t keep up with the constant cold draft under the tent walls. In the summer, though… outdoor seating is awesome!!

The food was good, service was decent. The reason I’m giving atmosphere such a low score is that last night I ate at the bar with a client and seated several bar stools down from me was a gentleman who brought his dog in with him in a purse. The dog was not a service dog. How a restaurant lets a dog sit at the bar is beyond me.

I’ve tried this place a few times and have been disappointed. They charged us for refills on fountain soda while dining in which is just crazy to me! $16.00 for a coke and root beer?! My chicken sandwiches were over cooked and overall our server just wasn’t very attentive or friendly.

Absolute worst experience I have had at a restaurant in probably 15 years. The service was absolutely horrible. Forgot my sons burger, he had to wait to eat until the rest of us were almost done with our meals. Then once the burger was brought out it didn't have cheese on it. Neither of the kids burgers came with pickles on the side that we requested. I ordered a double patty burger and received a single patty. We got kids tenders to go and it was the most embarrassing meal I have ever opened. Then the waitress comes to our table when we are finished and asks us if "we are better now". The best part is that my change was 53.32 and the server never gave me the coins... She just gave me 53$ back. Rude service. Horrible meal. The manager seemed like he was busy with something on his vehicle in the parking lot, maybe he should take a course on how to be effective as a manager, and whoever hired the servers and kitchen staff should be fired along with them. I honestly should have refused to pay for the meal. What a joke
